I know it’s not really my place (after all, this seems to be an ongoing thread between Lobsang, Ice Wolf, and kambuckta) but can’t we all just get along? Speaking as an outside person reading the OP, apology letter, and THIS THREAD can’t you all just shut the fuck up? This insanity is sure to never end. If you all can’t reach a peaceful understanding, then just hate each other in silence. Now, I know no one twisted my arm and made me read this thing, but it’s becoming ridiculous. How long does it take to close a thread if a person emails immediately??? I would think less than 16 hours. After all, that’s when KAMBUCKTA (who by the way is not the OP of THIS PARTICULAR thread) asked that the thread be closed and said that she was off to write an email of sorts. In the future, I advise that you know exactly when a post was made before making a snooty remark. Oh, and by posting, you too are adding to life of this thread.

I don’t have a problem with kambuckta – that has been resolved. (Very sorry if you misinterpreted the Trans-Tasman razzing session last night as a war – it isn’t. It was us having a bit of time off from the serious shit. It’s an Australasian thing.)

I don’t have a problem with Lobsang. He can sort his own stuff out. I merely asked, if he wants improvement, how he’s going to do it. A non-answer is his right. I don’t really stay awake at night worrying about this.

Ice Wolf - It wasn’t my intention to ignore your question, I was just reluctant to answer it as it would bring this thread to the top of the list. It is up at the top now anyway, so it is ok to answer…
One thing I will try to do is not rise to anything.
Another thing (difficult) is to think about what might happen if I reply to something unconstructive about me. (Think before I post)
About the drinking - I actually don’t drunk-post all that often. It is quite rare in fact. It just happens enough times for it to be noticeable. A drink fueled post probably stands out more - so it may seem like I post a lot while drunk. And the post in which I said I am more likely to post while drunk - I was drunk when I sai d that. so I was a little less acurate than I could be. I am not more likely to post while Drunk. (I don’t know why I said it, maybe I was trying to say I am less likely to think twice about posting something, so indirectly I am more likely to post it)
Thing three - be less self-involved. keep my feelings to myself, just post about trivial things . and offer my opinion in places where I feel it is appropriate to do so.
I took kambuckta’s calling my post bullshit as a personal attack. what author of a post wouldn’t take it personally if someone calls their op bullshit? a very thick-skinned author - maybe. I am not very thick skinned.
Don’t get me wrong. I am not a jerk all the time. I made a rare error and posted a stupid thread. someone told me so in a slightly un-tactful way - I over-reacted to that lack of tact. things spiralled out of control.
