London Dopefest, early September, all welcome

Those of us in or near London are trying to arrange another London Dopefest. All are welcome, and here’s the corresponding thread on the NADS site.

I have suggested Saturday September 5th. Venue may be the Silver Cross, just by Trafalgar Square.

Of course these details are subject to adjustment using D.O.P.E.R., the Date Optimisation Process of Edifying Rationality (i.e. a dizzying maze of conflicting and confusing emails spread across at least two threads on as many boards, generating much sound, fury and soul-crushing weariness but little by way of light or consensus, that collectively achieve little and offend some, at the end of which we all just shrug, give up and go with the first idea.)

I’d be up for it, and will canvass interest with the Raffers too (board heretic that I am).

Well I’m still up for it, as is I believe Lo Slung Denim from the Giraffe Boards. I’m not seeing a resounding cry of agreement from anyone else though…

If you can put it off till 24/25/26 Sept, I’ll be there. Of course, that isn’t early September.

I have an interview tomorrow for a job that pays the princely sum of £7.50 / hour, gross. That’s before everyone takes their cut. I’ll end up with £5 / hour. Not enough to cover the mortgage. Still it’s more than JSA+ HB, and it’s a start. So I’ll be employed and skint.
