Probably okay.
He wants me to read through the stuff and help him decide where to reply. He bounces ideas off of me until he finds one he likes and takes it from there.
It’s a pain though, because of the proliferic one, and there are several that, even though this is a 300 level class, write as though they are still in middle school. It’s hard to reply to somebody who can’t write a cohesive, coherant paragraph.
Some people write so much there is nothing to add, some are so convoluted you don’t know where to start.
Then after he writes it, I will proofread it for him.
I think that bouncing ideas off of me, and my proofreading his stuff is fair.
He’d probably be doing the same with his friends/classmates if he was on campus.
I was ready to beat him over the head though, he kept spelling counselor as consoler.
Shady, I get off early because I work a split day.
We are independent contractors, so we choose our own hours. Mostly everybody wants to work the daytime 9-5 type hours, but the company needs coverage 24/7. One, we are in competition with each other for the calls. We get paid for the calls we take, not the hours we work. It is better to work when there is not so much competition. Two, every now and then we will get an email from the company saying they need coverage for such and such hours, and while they realize that we are independent contractors and can choose our own hours, if they don’t receive the coverage, they will hire more contractors. Then we have even more competition for the available work.
Therefore, I work in the morning, and again in the evening.
What I should do is log in as soon as I get up in the morning and stay logged in all day, with a hour or so off for taking a shower and eating, but I get grumpy being chained to the phone all day.
I’ll sit for a half hour with no calls, and as soon as I get up to do something the phone starts ringing.
Very annoying.
I slept all afternoon, so nothing got done.
I need to start dinner for my son. I’ll be having leftovers, pork roast and cabbage.
We still haven’t gotten groceries, I think we’ll go Thorsday.
I don’t know, I don’t want to go at all.
I don’t want to do anything. I get this way when I am stressed.
