Last weekend they started showing the second series of Strike Back here (the first season was apparently on a completely different channel and I didn’t see it), and while it’s still an enjoyable show, I was a little disappointed that Captain Marshall wasn’t one of the protagonists despite what the opening scene suggested. Having just watched episode four, this became more of an annoyance.
I enjoyed Stargate: SG-1 and BSG: Razor, but I’m wondering whether there’s any modern military fiction that people would recommend where a woman soldier gets the spotlight.
