That’s where Ichima is, actually. About 3 (long) blocks from the terminus of the Gold Line. Ichima is back behind the Islands/Italian place.
It also has a buttload of free parking, for the rest of us.
Sorry about that, Oni. I wasn’t familiar with the name. I think Hastings Ranch is going to be the best compromise for the drivers and those on public transportation. And I know some people need a time to help solidy their plans. I’ll propose 7:30pm. Does anyone have any objection?

My status is still up in the air. We’re supposed to get the keys to the condo thursday and want to get on painting this weekend. So I may be at Lowes, Home Depot or the like getting supplies friday night. But save me a maybe spot. 
Fine by me. Should I call Friday morning-ish after a final tally and make reservations? Both Kabuki and Ichima are super busy on Friday nights.

No problem. Unless someone wants to pipe in with a “I hate Ichima,” we’re talking Ichima on Friday, November 2nd at 7:30 p.m., right?
I’ll call around 10 on Friday and tack a few people on to the final tally for “possibles”. They are very good with big groups, actually. One time I was eating at the sushi bar and there was an entire high school squad of…something there. Very noisy that day.
Since I’m still a maybe I hate to ask, but would it be possible to go a little earlier than 730?
I have no problem with earlier, but I have some concern for the people who work and then may have to come from far away, particularly in Friday evening traffic. What time were you thinking about?
If I was being really selfish, I’d say 530. 630ish would work well. If later is better for everyone else, I’m ok with that. My problem is that I work in Pasadena so anything between 5ish and when we start is deadtime. Then an hour and 1/2 bus commute home to Studio City after.
Put me and my husband down as definitely attending. I have no preference WRT time.

For what it’s worth, I work 'til 6:30, but if the group doesn’t mind me showing up late, I don’t mind if everybody else starts up before me.
I’m coming from downtown and have to go grab my car from my mom and dad who are visiting me. 6 is about as early as I can make it.
Oh - Oni no Husband says he’d like to come as well. So add another for my spousage.
OK, last call, folks. There are a couple of folks I still haven’t heard from, so hopefully any late additions will pipe up before anu-la1979 makes reservations in the morning.
As for time, my suggestion would be to compromise and go with 7pm. That still gives enough time for the people who have to do other things first to get there, but will save Antinor01 at least a half hour of time to kill.
