Lost & found, the MMP

Kitchen is clean, chcoeken is marinating for italian breaded chicken, Gordie’s had a bunch of waks today.

If we have a freshly waxed hardwood florr, we could play coaster hockey.

Sari, sounds like a crappy dream party.

{{{{MLS}}}} Extra vegggies are good, though.

And speaking of babies moving away, we are prepping for the Baby Boy to move into his own apartment in August. The Boy thinks I’m being ridiculous, as I put together his housewarming care package - everything from a flyswatter and a first aid kit to dish soap and canned tomatoes. And a little patio garden of fresh herbs. And stuff. He won’t

My standard housewarming gift is a fire extinguisher.

Oh wait ---- you meant …
One more of the originals has let work for the last time. We had a beer:30 in his honor. <hic> And the Pens lost. That is all.

Hey all, just a drive by. I already took my night time meds and so am able to remember very little of what I just read, but (((Everyone))) just for good measure.

Garden time, and this year I haz a sad, as I am going to have to radically scale back this season. I have health issues which must finally be addressed before I will be able to resume anything close to my manic gardening. I too love petunias, especially the wave varieties. If you live in an area that recieves a lot of grey days a hanging basket of dark purple wave petunias (bonus, you only need one per container) and dark sapphire trailing lobelia is gorgeous, and will absolutely glow on overcast days. I learned that trick while living up North. Also I am loving the calibrachoas, like little petunias only self cleaning. I like mixing calibrachoa, verbena, lantana and something a little more vertical like a geranium in the wider than deep dish planters and putting them on the deck railing so they can drape and sway. The plants, not the planters. I lost all of my dahlias and all but one clump of cannas, and so I will not be digging and storing in the autumn in the future. If they make it through the winters yay, if not I will replant, but at least it will take out a big, muddy chore at the end of the season.

The roller coaster never seems to stop in Wiki World, but hey, the days are rarely dull!

Happy Saturday morning, as I figure the rest of you are snuggled up with your dreams!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Short day today.

Wiki! : tacklehug :

Greetings! Inlaws got here mid-afternoon yesterday after getting lost. They’ve been here several times and they have GPS, but they missed the turn and wound up in Waldorf… But they called **FCD **and they got here fine, so there’s that.

Daughter and her BF made supper - it was nice. He’s injured again - this time, his shoulder. I swear, every time we see them, he’s wearing a brace or a sling. Oh, and he’s still planning to get an MBA. Still hasn’t taken a single college class, tho. Yeah, he’s a winner. He is a nice person, but frankly, I think he’s lazy.

Poor **FCD **can’t sleep in the bed, and he sorta sleeps on the recliner. I see another back surgery in his near future - a more extensive one with more hardware going into his back. We’ll find out more on Moanday.

**sunny **- I got the evil jeans at WalMart. So as much as I hate the pockets, at least they were cheap!

Not sure what today’s plans are. My sweetie is snoring away on the recliner, so that’s good. His folks are still asleep. Ziva is back under the bed, so she’s happy, I guess. We’ll see where the day takes us. I may just go back to bed. Or not…

Happy Saturday!

That is a wonderful idea and I’m going to start doing this.

Happy Saturday!

The sun is shining, so that is good.

I woke up earlier than I wanted to, but I’m up and awake now. Much to do today, I need to contemplate the list and see what needs to be done first.

FCM- since my mother never called about this weekend, I expect she is planning the joint bd get together for next weekend. Now that my niece has moved in with her I never hear from her. I’ll call her today to find out what is going on.

Mais oui! Et je le ferais à nouveau, aussi.

Éhonté!

Prend un à connaître, chérie.

Mooooom, I have a pair of jeans like that. I carry my lipstick in my right front pocket of most pants, but the tube falls out when I go to restroom with this pair. I’ve taken to putting the lipstick in the watch pocket instead.

Today is clean the house day. It’s just gotten a lick and a promise since I hurt my back and needs to be vacuumed and mopped in a bad way. That, supper and a movie with my neighbor and grocery shopping are the extent of my big plans this weekend.

Happy Saturday!

While we were at breakfast, Taz peed on the guest bed, so I’m laundering the linens. Stoopit cat. He even got the pillows. As soon as I put the pillows in the dryer, I’ll bake 'nanner bread.

Always something…

Do you want the duck, Mac?

Some blurfage this morning, but as I sit by my window with my coffee I can smell that the heat we have been having has opened some of the jasmine blossoms, heavenly!

doggio ::tacklehug:: returned, con mucho gusto!

So much for the sun, now it’s raining.

So much for getting things done, I have been a sloth all day.

Vy a duck? Vy notta chicken?
Cold and wet and it looks like the hedges will have to wait. I can live with that idea.

Took Polly Subaru in to get an oil change and new brake pads. Ended up having to get a new oil pan gasket because the old one blew. As did the gaskets on the power steering. I got the oil pan fixed; the other gaskets can wait a little while until I can rise from my fainting couch after paying the brakes/oil change/oil pan bill.

Then I took a walk down at the park down by the river. Tomorrow hiking season begins.

It’s darkening here - rain on the way. But the guest bed has been re-made, free of cat pee. The 'nanner bread is amazing, of course! And supper will be poke chops, carrots, instant smashed N.O.T.s, and maybe cabbage. Yum!

Viaduct? What a no-chicken?
