Umm, I think of the posters in the thread are Canadian, who should bear in mind that us USA’ers are only two episodes into season 1.
Yeah, dont spoiler us Americans, you hosers!
Hosers, indeed. ![]()
Although I now look forward to my eyeglasses steaming up…

Oops as well… I don’t think us Canucks spoiled too much, thank goodness I didn’t say anything about Trick being the Blood King ![]()
I told my wife about calling Lauren Lorne and her response was, “that’s a man’s name.” followed by a long head shake with
What are the other characters’ names - Bo, Kenzi, Dyson, Trick, and Hale? I think you can be forgiven.
Well I’ve continued watching it, and it’s good. The near-nudity (at least as seen on US SyFy Channel) and the fact that the lead is a succubus adds a sexy, edgy vibe to the show that, well, cranks it up a notch! BAM!
Good stuff. I wonder how the Fundamentalists would handle that - a woman who not only enjoys sex (with everyone she can find), but actually gets stronger and healed from it. Heh.
Wow. Didn’t need a sweater to watch that one.
Well after watching all of season 1 and much of Season 2, I’m of the opinion that Lost Girl is the second best series on TV after Game of Thrones. Considering its probable budget, that’s freaking remarkable. Just an all-round good series that has a way of consistently coming up with interesting plot twists and characters to match. Not sure how far they can spin it, but so far, wow!
Seems somehow appropriate to reanimate this particular thread…
I just discovered Lost Girl over the weekend: Netflix suggested it to me, and Saturday evening I gave it a shot. So far I’ve watched all of S1, and I’m recording S3 on SyFy (I think we’re up to Ep 2 or Ep 3 here in the States) while I watch S2 on Netflix.
I was undecided during the earliest episodes, mostly because I found Kenzi to be highly annoying. But either her character settled down a little or I just got used to her, because she doesn’t bother me nearly as much anymore.
Does anyone else think that Anna Silk (Bo) bears a striking resemblance to Mary-Louise Parker?
Kris Holden-Reid isn’t much of an actor, but who cares.
I just gave the first 4 or 5 episodes a shot the other day. I was sick and couldn’t find anything on netflix. I knew that Kenzi from the show was part of a meme (the timebomb meme) so I gave it a go.
I’m undecided. It feels a bit formulaic - supernatural creature becomes a PI. Supernatural orphan tries to find parents. Those angles seems really played out (but really, there’s nothing new under the sun, is there?). I like the writing and the interaction between Bo and Kenzi and I like the sexuality aspect since the show presents a different take on it.
Bo does look a bit like Parker, but I dunno. I don’t find her all that hot though.
