Hmm, Scuba isn’t on, and Jimmy never even voted. Oh well, a less than epic end to an epic struggle.
And the clock rolls over to noon. So, what do we win?
**Previously on Lost:
Nothing was left to be said.
“Well, only a few remain. Let’s kill Jimmy,” said a few islanders.
And they did….violently.
But who was Jimmy Chitwood? And when would all the mysteries be revealed?
And now on Lost:
With Jimmy, dead, everyone figured it was all over. Jimmy was the last of the Others and the two remaining Survivors could move on, try to escape, or just live as peacefully as possible and explore the mysterious island.
An ending. Only two survived, but at least it was a somewhat happy ending.
However…
ScubaBen turned to walk down the beach. Maybe he and Telcontar could figure out a way off the island.
Suddenly, ScubaBen gasped. He couldn’t breath! He struggled mightily and put up a huge fight. He was able to turn around and when he did, he saw one thing clearly.
He saw that Jimmy was actually Rose Nadler, an Ordinary Survivor. Then……oh no!
“That’s right, Charlie Pace,” said Telcontar, “You did my job for me. Oh, sure, in the end, you did kill Benjamin and Ethan, but you missed one individual. Me! I, Richard Alpert, an Other Renaissance Man, still live and you? You are soon to be dead!”
Scuba struggled, but in the end, he died. Charlie Pace, an Ordinary Survivor, was dead.
Telcontar, who is Richard Alpert, alone survived the chaos. He paused, reflected, and smiled. He didn’t really need Ben Linus or Ethan Rom. He only needed himself. In fact, another plane would surely crash soon enough, and perhaps he could recruit new Others to join his cause.
In fact, that’s exactly what happened. Richard was able to rebuild his Other community and live, in his own way, happily ever after.
Others win! Congratulations to Zeriel, ShadowFacts, and Telcontar!

I am aware this game was unbalanced towards town, who lost anyway. Extensive conversation has occurred on the spoiler board(17 pages worth, actually). Please read there before pointing out anything to me here.
Having one game under my belt, I believe I have a better understanding of balance, though it is more of an art form than science.
Discuss freely, but please don’t complain or whine! I think I did fairly well, actually.

Oh the wonders of one flawed assumption. I would like to thank everyone who was so sure that there must be 4 scum; without you this would not have been possible.
Though, related note: Why weren’t there four scum? I mean come on, we were weak and they had two cops!

OK, so how’s that for irony? We lost because the game was biased in our favor, and we didn’t realize it.

I’m not sure if I stated it in this thread yet, I thought I did.
To restate:
I will NOT be playing in the next Mafia game. I have plans to play in the game after that one. (Assuming that there will be one)
My intention is to, perhaps, go back and pick up pieces of the game I leapfrogged over.

Thanks to everyone for a really fun game. it was fun to both play and watch after I died. Thanks in particular to my teammates, who both did a great job. And BIG thanks to Mahaloth, for a very well-moderated game.
And I have to say that I am particularly delighting to have beaten storyteller this time around. While I was not able to scummify you as you did me, it still feels good. Until next time!

You mean the how many bullets did you have question? I thought about it, but decided it didn’t matter. Even if you have multiple bullets, leaving you for another night was the right play.
