Your #1 premise was based on an early Day 1 bandwagon that formed prior to your claim. It is far from proven, and I’d be interested to see if storyteller still believes it to be true.

I’ve already claimed, including my PM. I can’t do much to defend myself against a case made based on early Day 1 voting when I wasn’t around.
Also I’m curious to look back at everyone who has claimed but NOT submitted their PM. I’m sure there’s at least 2, but I’d have to go back through Yesterday to see. My guess is that Scum were given Aliases, but NOT townie PMs so they’re reluctant to try to fabricate one. Knowing that my PM was different than theirs, they may also be reluctant to copy and paste the previous players’ vanilla role PMs.

Note that, by this point, pede had already claimed (including his full role PM) and nobody had counter-claimed, and of course we had already found that (presumed) breadcrumb for storyteller. Inventing a scenario with a whole bunch of specific people as Scum, including two who should have been pretty clearly Town, when just assuming that Shadow was Scum would be enough, seems pretty fishy to me.
I also note that he was one of the people who did not say whether his name matched his alignment way back on Day 1, which isn’t enough by itself to damn him, but it doesn’t look good for him.
Another point, by the way: Have Telcontar and Zeriel posted role PMs? If I’m not mistaken, they both claimed tail-section characters, which might give them a different PM than the fuselage characters.
I mean, on the one hand, I’d be kind of relieved if you guys would just kill me so I don’t have to keep trying to figure out what’s going on here, but you’re barking up the wrong tree with this one. I didn’t do what you’re saying I did, as far as I can tell, but then I’m not really clear what you’re saying I did. Who were the “whole bunch of specific people?”
Further, “we” didn’t find that breadcrumb for storyteller; I did. So unless you’re accusing me of being dumb enough to bring that point to everyone’s attention, and then trying to skirt around it by not bringing it up, that looks like a non-starter to me.
The post you quoted is me trying to make sense of what was, even in retrospect, a spectacularly suspicious series of plays by pedescribe dating back to the beginning of the game, and a continuing feeling on my part that, despite the objective inevitability of story’s town status (again, as suggested first by me), his play doesn’t quite match up to that of an ignorant and repeatedly-foiled town detective. If that’s the scummiest thing going, string me up. You’ll find I’m Rose Nadler, vanilla town. And I’ll go over into the forbidden thread and say, damn, something sure seems bullshitty about the way town is getting led around by the nose, same as I said in the post you quoted.
Well, yes, I do. He is town. And lynching him because he happens to have to lowest post count does not strike me as a good idea.
I get it, I am not the most prolific poster, as Scuba_Ben has felt compelled to point out multiple times. In particular:
I have not abandoned the game to the extent that being modkilled is anywhere near appropriate. This type if fishing from Scuba continues and make me suspicious.
I also worry about scuba for this reason; he seems to fish cases.
I worry about you mostly because I have very little read on you. I’m hoping that one of the players who is fairly trustworthy (story, chronos) will weigh in on you so I have a bit more to go on. As it is, a scum player would love to have as low a profile as you do, though I think your time commitments and newbie status are probably adequate explanations for your post count. I’m just concerned that we’re going to find out post game that, instead of justifying your post count, we should have been lynching you for it. There’s always an element of “I’ll feel like I’m a moron if I’m wrong about X, so I should really be careful there” in my play.
