Lost: The Journey. What is NOT important?

Sorry, yeah thats what I meant… Locke revealed to us, not to the castaways, by telling Walt… I should have made myself more clear.

The linebacker?

I understand why all the backstories got left out–although they’re integral to the story, there just isn’t time in a one-hour recap. But I don’t get why the polar bears were omitted. That seems pretty frickin’ important, to me. But maybe the OP is right, and the writers are telling us that the polar bears aren’t nearly as important as we like to think.

I kinda liked the narration. I didn’t need it, of course, but it made the whole thing feel kinda like Choose Your Own Adventure–Lost.

If you’d like to try to open the hatch, turn to page 8.
If you decide to look for the Crazy French Lady, turn to page 15.

Oh, yes… apparently, it’s also not important that some really good-looking women were wandering around in their underwear. That didn’t make it into this episode, even though the image of Kate standing in the water will be with me for quite some time…

Ahh thank you. Interesting.

Uh to me it sounded a lot like ‘We’re the survivors…’ but I have that show around here I could listen again.

Is “Lost: The Journey” the title of the series or just of the recap show? 'cause that’s probably kind of important, too.

Brian Cox

On the message boards at the site for the series, someone said that “The Journey” was not produced by the producers of the TV series. It was an independent company hired by ABC.

I don’t know how to go about confirming or disconfirming this tidbit, though.

If it’s true, then we shouldn’t attach too much importance to the episode’s choices as to what was left in and what was left out.

It’s just an episode title.
