Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman!

Lucy Lawless would be perfect, but I seem to recall her saying she wouldn’t do it because it was too similar to her Zena character and she wanted to do other things. Unfortunately no link, don’t have time now to search.

Huh. Had no idea about that when I said she probably wouldn’t want to do it. Just call me the gateway into Lucy Lawless’s mind.

By the way, it’s Xena.

I’ll just take this opportunity to mention Super Troopers, one of my favourite little-known comedies, in which Carter has a bit part as the Governor of Vermont.

And I’m all for the bondage-heavy original comic version, myself.

What about Carrie-Anne Moss, she can kick butt - watch the Matrix, - she might be able to draw people to a movie, if it was good, and she looked like Wonder Woman and if she grew her hair out or got a good wig, she would look like she did when she was in Model’s Inc.

I’ve read in Wizard and other trades that she’d love to do it.

Xena is to Wonder Woman what Conan is to Superman.

The only comparison that really sticks is the warrior princess concept.

For the look of the contemporary Wonder Woman, she looks too old.

And too skinny. She’d have to put on 20 pounds in all the right places to match the design of the comic book character.

Let’s hold her down, force feed her cheesecake, and see what happens.

That’s the problem with most actresses today. None of them have the bulk to play Wonder Woman. Lucy Lawless doesn’t either, but somehow she can look voluptuous without actually being voluptuous.

Linda Carter looked “bigger then life” She seemed tall and she was not chunky but she was not petite either. She exuded the role of Wonder Woman.

The only person I can think of that might share the same qualities is Lucy Lawless. But I don’t know if she would be believable after doing Xena The Princess Warrior.

The only solution is to stage a nationwide talent search the likes of which hasn’t been seen since MGM cast Scarlett O’Hara.

Jennifer Connelly. But only because I want to see her run around in a skimpy bikini for a couple of hours.

No.

We’ll…build…one.

Plastic surgery, silicone “enhancement”…oh yes.
Very do-able.

Hmmmm, Jennifer Connelly… running… in a skimpy bikini… in slo-mo… Harumpf, excuse me, I’m needed elsewhereyeah, that’s the ticket

Holy craptasticness Batman! That was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. Mind you, Ellie Walker seemed kind of cute, but…wow. That business with the mirror? Today that’d lead to something you’d only see on Showtime or Cinemax late at night.

Wow. I’ve gotta see it again.

Am I the only one who cannot find the clip on this page? I get the tabs at the top of the screen but the bottom of the screen is blank. Please help, I need to see this.

Thanks

Who are you kidding? Even with how many years of experience, plastic surgeons can’t even get breasts to look remotely close to right. And you think that they can do a good job with much more difficult muscle and general bulk? It’d be like trying to build an SUV on the chassis of a Volkswagen Beetle.

Not doable at all.

For those of you who hate RealPlayer, there is a replacement player that supposedly can play all the variants of RealVideo and RealAudio without mucking up your system the way RealOne does. Haven’t tested it, though.

I won’t link to it directly because it’s generally carried on sites that also promote filesharing software, which is frowned on around here, but if you google “real alternative realmedia” you should be able to find it.

Lynda.

The woman’s name is Lynda.
