Lynda Carter is the only true wonder woman.
My only comment is that the reviews of David E Kelley’s script seem to indicate that it’s a horrendously awful concept that will never work.

I thought this was going to be a movie, but appears to be a TV show. I’ve never seen anything she’s been in, but I think she looks the part.

I agree. Even if the details were technically true, can you imagine that sentence being written about another superhero?
Hell, just look at her company:

Actually, I remember watching that movie, but the only memory I have of it was “Price Is Right” model Anitra Ford appeared in it, and actually had a few lines.

I suppose I think of the Super Friends WW, with that bitchin’ plane and deeper, authoritative voice. My teenaged brain could barely process Lynda Carter and make it through the whole show…in a good way.
Yes, and it was funny that they kept the villain hidden through the first half of the movie, though his voice clearly identified him as Ricardo Montalban.

Obligatory Wonder Woman pole dance trick pic: (The trick is called “Superman” but that’s me in the WW costume.) Perhaps I should have auditioned.
She’s pretty enough, but doesn’t really make one think “Amazon.” But we all knew they would never cast someone who looks like an athlete in the role.
My thought is, that the comic book Wonder Woman will be retconned away from the retcon currently underway in the title, to match this new David E Kelley version. Thereby repeating the error that DC keeps making, and the error that keeps her from being as iconic as Superman or Batman (whose retcons don’t mess with the central concepts of their characters).
I’ll probably watch the show. Couldn’t be any worse than Smallville…
I heard that midway through the movie, a friend of hers dies and Diana has to care for the friend’s infant, despite no knowledge of baby care or changing. Hilarity ensues.
Didn’t they already remake Wonder Woman and call it Xena?
