You better hope not. Lynn used to refer to sending “my cousin Vinnie” to deal with spammers and trolls (based on the character in the movie of the same name). You don’t want Vinnie coming around.
Fluiddruid is organizing something involving a charity that provides children in hospitals with games – Lynn was an avid gamer and spent way too much of her life in hospitals, she would have appreciated that.
Failing that, you can make a contribution to your local animal shelter, or even better, go down and adopt a cat. Lynn loved cats most of all, maybe more than people. (Cats are generally better behaved.)
Please look for fluiddruid’s post for how to contribute for childsplaycharity.
Oh my God, I am so sorry! Poor Lynn and her family and friends.
My most sincere condolences, she was a real asset & trooper.
I am sorry to hear that. I hope comfort will descend on everyone who loved her.
My condolences to her family and friends.
Regards,
Shodan
Whaaa…?!

I do not expect to see this. I’m so sorry.
I like this idea.
This, plus 10. Very sad. She was a great moderator.
RIP, Lynn. Adding my condolences. Her death will diminish this board, and in no small way.
I’m saddened to hear this. My best to her family and close friends.
The fundraiser details will be posted as soon as I get the charity’s approval for the event. This is needed to enable the widget so we can see our donation totals, but allows direct donation (without me touching any of the money). The charity is Child’s Play.
I’ll post here and start a fundraiser thread as soon as donations are enabled. Thanks all.
Oh wow! I’m so sorry to hear of Lynn’s passing. Thoughts and prayers are with her and her family at this time.
Sad news, she will be missed very much. Heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
So sorry.
My sympathies to her family and friends. A great loss.
Wow. Adding my condolences to the pile.
I will miss her.
So sorry to hear this! She was a Great amongst Dopers!
So sad.
Lynn and I corresponded and swapped a few tokens of esteem over the years. I will miss her, she was a fine person.
Very sad to hear. At least the afterlife will be in good hands. RIP Lynn.
