Lynn Bodoni has passed away

:frowning:

RIP. I take it she has some underlying illness, because she did not appear to be very old and the SDMB staff seems unsurprised by the death.

My condolences to her family.

I’ve seen Lynn’s mod posts from time to time. She’ll be missed. She was one of the really nice people here. R.I.P.

Sad news for everyone. Proof that the Dope is a big part of many peoples’ lives.

She was always so nice to me. RIP Lynn. My sympathies and thoughts to her family.

RIP, Lynn. :frowning:

My condolences to her friends and family. She was truly an extraordinary person.

I was very surprised & saddened to hear this! RIP Lynn.

RIP Lynn.

Fuck,

I wish her family peace and strength.

Bummer.

Lynn was one of the kindest and most open people I’ve ever had the good fortune to “meet” on the internet.

However, one also learned very quickly not to draw her ire!

I will miss you, Lynn

I knew she was in poor health, but the news still comes as a shock. This place won’t be the same without her. I still recall her encouragement when I joined the staff all those years ago. The transition would have been much tougher without her.

I once told her that she needed an “I Aten’t Dead” sign like Granny Weatherwax wears, so that nobody would get the wrong idea during her occasional health-related absences. I am sad to realize she won’t be needing it any more.

Aw mud.

Thanks, Lynn, for looking out for the little ones.

My condolences to her family. Lynn was certainly a presence on this board, and it will be a lesser place without her.

My condolences. I’ll certainly be looking for a rescue cat once I get my own place.

I’d seen she was having health problems, but this is still quite a sad shock. My condolences to her family and friends. She was a true credit to this Board/community and her insights, wit and wisdom will be sadly missed.

Very sad news to see. How horrible for her family and friends.
You’ll be missed…RIP, Lynn.

I am so sorry to hear this. Condolences to family, all of her and all of ours.

RIP. :frowning:

So sad. She was a wise and witty poster. I will miss her. :frowning:
