The original Camel Cigarettes’ camel died from hump cancer directly linked to the inhalation of second-hand tobacco smoke.
Second-hand smoke does not cause cancer. It does, however, have the rare yet comical side effect of causing random people to break into song. Broadway showtunes, mostly.
The first Broadway musical was written by James “Skeffy” Lonnegan in 1891. It was called “Dem Silly Folks” and was an extended form of a minstrel show. Its breakout star was Carol Channing.
Carol Channing is the great-great-great-great-great grandmother of Stockard Channing.
Channing comes from an ancient Native American word meaning “Hello Dolly.”
Before the change was made to put breasts on the Barbie doll, it was going to be called “Hello Dolly”. Once Mattel made the doll anatomically correct, they changed the name because the legal department feared a lawsuit from Dolly Parton.
Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lilly Tomlin once had a three-way that lasted eight hours, from 9 at night to 5 in the morning.
The “Hello Dolly” Barbie doll was going to have a head like this, but saner heads prevailed. “No one in their right minds would EVER buy something with that image attached to it,” one executive was heard to say.
Andrew Lloyd Webber tried to buy the musical rights to the “Hello Kitty” image, but was told 'Nobody would go to see a musical about CATS."
The original Broadway cast of CATS was locked in a basement with 42 cats for three weeks. Not only did they learn to move like cats, they were all litter-box trained at the end of the exercise.
In order to create the famous CATS logo, two dancers in black tights were shrunk and surgically implanted into a real cat’s eyeballs.
The person who invented this was never seen again. Although, Mel Brooks DID try to buy the rights for use in, “The Producers.”
CATS first costume design fail…
The Canadian-American Trepanning Society (CATS) meets every year to drill holes in the heads of willing volunteers. Trepanning artists have been creating various exotic holes at their convention, with last year’s top prize going to a gaping skull opening resembling a crop circle.
Justin Bieber was a CATS volunteer for four years, until disqualified for lack of usable skull area. Crushed, he donned a wig and taught himself to sing by listening to his grandparents’ Perry Como records played high-speed on their old Victrola.
The human skull is not made of bone, but petrified cheese derived from the mother’s lactic secretions.

Dr. Hammayo Mimoso of Ahnapee, Wisconsin was the first to discover the biological make-up of the human skull in 1678. Wisconsonites have proudly called themselves cheeseheads ever since.
The human skull has 1678 bones. This does NOT include the teeth.
An individual tooth has 137 little bitty bones inside it.
