No, we don’t need a body, we need a legitimate lynch that puts pressure on players. Are you just tired of playing?
No I’m not tired, but it get the sense people are at least partially clueless and some suspect me. I’m comfortable as vanilla to be the backup if people feel the need to have one. Or not, it is really up to the crowd.
If you are vanilla, lynching you is a mislynch. Why would we want to do that? If you die, it should be via scum kill because they think you are a power role. The more times we can get scum to use their kill on VTs, the more the power roles can get results.
It really shouldn’t be, in the ideal situation the lynch choice would be between two scum, not a townie and a scum. Sure, some people suspect you, and if you’re town, that will still happen. But the scum need a certain number of townies to die for them to win, and a townie volunteering for town to waste a lynch on them doesn’t make any sense. This is not a good idea.

I do think it might be useful to try to get some non-Chronos cases going. In retrospect, I probably should have held off a bit longer on saying anything. It is certain that Chronos visited Johnny Bravo, but I cannot say for certain that no one else did. I believe Chronos is 98% scum, but I want to find a backup lynch in case of scum manipulation who is more than 50% scum if possible, and Mahaloth isn’t that, at this point.

I just want to say it is entirely possible at this point I’m suffering hallucinations. I swear that earlier today, we had some kind of info. that Chronos may survive his lynch and that we wanted a backup choice.

Your fate, as far as I’m concerned, is tied to Chronos. If he turns out to be town, you’ve certainly town. If he turns out to be scum, I actually still lean more townie on you, because you already had vote pressure building on you. In my personal opinion, I find it more likely that a scum Chronos would make us play the WIFOM game with a townie, not a scum partner. This doesn’t exonerate you if he flips scum… It’s just a piece of evidence I’d weight more townie than scum.

I don’t really think we need to worry about a backup that much, but it is prudent. I just don’t understand why we shouldn’t try to scum-hunt for the backup position.
Since everyone seems confused, I knew about Cap’n’s identity from my role PM. I guess there’s no real harm in quoting the relevant section now.
Well, the idea being that if Mahaloth is town, then his offering himself up as a lynch contender vs. Chronos isn’t doing town any favors.

Also, we did not have our own board, so I don’t know Johnny’s clue.
There’s more heat on me than Mahaloth.
Maha- I’m going to be lynched at some point so I don’t see why you’d volunteer to be a backup lynch. If for whatever reason town can’t lynch Chronos, I’m the obvious second place candidate. Regardless of how Chronos flips the lynch will *still come after me later.

Scum other than Chronos? I do read and reread but have no suspicions other than the mildish ones for which I voted yesterDay.
I do rely on your guidance, Askthepizzaguy, which is usually excellent when you’re Town, as I think you are this game. But I need more than this to add Inner Stickler to my suspect list.
