I do know that septimus did not perform the scum kill yesterday.
Whoops, septimus was not supposed to be in blue there… dunno how that happened.
You keep doing this thing where you agree with people in order to suggest the opposite.
Now I shall agree with your statements in order to suggest you’re caught and forced to admit to the things which incriminate you, using sarcasm.
I feel the need to provide you with some ammunition to make it a sporting challenge.
What the fuck is up with the scum team? DB is still alive but Silver Jan is dead? What the hell. And how did Texcat get hold of the same clue as Idle? Is there really a scum clue investigator? Seems unnecessary for a side that is already guaranteed a chunk of true clues.
I assume they are worried about being caught murdering me, or a doctor protecting me and wasting a kill.
Or they are just being nice to me since I was so helpful to them, arguing against the lynch of Texcat… sigh
No clue why they would kill Silver Jan though.
Astral, a trip down memory lane…
Post 438. Board won’t let me quote it for some reason so I’m copying it. You guys can find it.

Note the bolded top 4 candidates.
Here’s the situation:
It was Astral and TexCat and Pizza for the lynch around about that time. Pizza not happy with the top three, pushes for the fourth place guy.
Why not listen to ol’ pizzaface in that circumstance.
What happened after I indicated I wasn’t willing to lynch either one of Astral or TexCat?
Answer: This is what Astral posted.
Happy to look at Pleo. Also happy to look at Dizzy. Anyone but TexCat and the guy who is not interested in voting for either you or TexCat, right?
Who better to toss under the bus but Pleo.
The convenient timing of the push by pizza onto Pleonast leads to Astral suddenly finding Pleonast scummy. His case is exquisite, with plenty of cited reasons. Quite professionally done. An excellent hit job.
I wanted to see what you would do. And you didn’t disappoint. You let innocent people die.
Remember this? Soon after we revealed we had no interest in lynching Pleonast, Dizzy got your vote. With promises that you read all of her posts first. Good man.
I found that vote interesting as well.
As promised, the later analysis:
Astral appears to be having difficulties keeping himself and his scum pals from being voted and/or dying.
And the conclusion:
Dearest Pizza: I’ve been under lynch pressure all game. This further accusation is just a drop in the bucket.
I’ll get to scum hunting when I get home from work tonight. If people are dead-set on lynchifying me, could we please at least develop other cases and continue playing the game in the meantime? The silence is dreadful.
(P.S. I employ sarcasm against nebulous or poor rationales because it brings me joy. Sweet, sweet joy.)
Then let it be the fatal drop.
I need to get wevets, Rysto, gnarlycharlie, septimus, and **DiggitCamara **some more satisfaction after they’ve been hounding scumbags all game long, so they can enjoy full credit for being way, way up the scum team’s butt with a blowtorch pretty much the entire time.
Good sir scumbag, you have fought with valor and distinction. It makes me weep to see you die so suddenly after your honorable teammate fell in the mexican standoff. But those will be tears of sweet, sweet joy. Your agony is my sunshine. Your teardrops are the stars in my heaven. Your blood is the ocean upon which the ship of victory sails. Your final breaths are the wind beneath my wings.
The second. TexCat’s is true,…she just left EXTRA stuff out about it.
But it’s true, mine doesn’t contradict in it any way. Mine matched JB’s exactly, save for one word TexCat left out (that, when put it, tells extra info----although leaves the rest of what TexCat said as true).
Not sure what to believe…but with my already strong suspicions of TexCat, it just makes me feel like she’s lying.
Guys, have your cameras ready. When I flip town in seven days, it’s gonna blow pizza’s mind.
Just caught up…I see Texcat was lying scum, as I figured she was.
So I go back to what I was saying then: I think JohnnyBravo had the exact same clue that I did…but when Texcat got a hold of it, she changed it by leaving out a word and withholding what the full clue says.
If this is correct, that means scum probably already know what the real clue says anyway…so should I post my clue?
I don’t see any reason why not since it’s very possible I was right and that Texcat changed JB’s clue in order to hide any possible extra info from Town. Keep in mind that this is how I figured her to be definite lying scum late in the Day yesterDay…so I think the odds are good she really was lying and changing it.
I think it depends on how likely you think it was that storyteller is passing off as unique clues with one word differences vs scum getting hold of a clue and altering it. I don’t believe he used c&p in the construction of the role PMs so…
Well, as I said before, the clue she got from JB matches mine EXACTLY, word for word (with the exception of one word that was changed).
I think it’s good money that she changed this word before relating it to you all. Because, after all, that’s what made me sure she was lying scum.
I mean, I had already been suspicious of her before that…but after she posted JB’s clue (or what she said it said), that pretty much confirmed it in my mind. See this post again for how sure I felt that she was scum after she posted that info.
I don’t think that she did have JB’s clue. As I said earlier, JB said that his clue, if false, could lead to a mislynch. I don’t see how that follows from your clue.
Maybe the scum had a straight-up clue investigator, and she investigated you? I couldn’t explain why she changed a word in that case though.
I was trying to figure out why the name “Irene Adler” sounded familiar. Finally remembered to go back and check my clue:
Interesting that she ended up being the backup godfather. When reviewing Texcat’s posts, keep in mind the possibility that she may not have been scum the whole game (and thus, if she did flip from town to scum, that she almost certainly would not have known the scum’s identity before she switched alignments.
Or this clue could be false. Damn you and your mind screws, story.
Having TOWN know that there’s a scum in the game that is unknown to the other scum definitely would make TOWN more paranoid, even if just a little bit…at least in my opinion. Stands to reason.
So I can see how him having that clue and saying “It could lead to a mislynch” is possible.
I think what makes MORE sense than “she looked at my clue” is “She got JB’s clue and didn’t count on anyone else ON TOWNS SIDE having the same clue”…so she thought she could get away with changing it.
Because if it was the first (her somehow reading MY clue), then why would she reveal it like she did? She’d know there would be the risk of me saying something.
I think it was an instance of her not thinking there was any risk of being called out as a liar/with holder of info.
I prefer my version because it means that I didn’t get scum lynched through pure luck.
Anyway, it’s all moot now. She’s caught and dead.
Vote Septimus
Vote Darth Sensitive
The first for the reasons I’ve given on Days One and Two.
The second, because I like the case on him. The points made by **Daphne **here are good ones.
To add to it: Yes, he did vote for Texcat (and was fingered by Tex later in the Day yesterDay—heh “Fingered”), but he was also voting on the Pizza bandwagon, which smells to me like another possible “Scum was trying to save Texcat” ploy.
And before he (or anyone else) points out the fact that if this was the case, he would have just voted for Pizza and NOT Tex…he might have known Tex was doomed and wanted to jump on that train just in case she was lynched.
I still feel there’s a strong chance that Astral may be scum as well…but with one scum caught from that whole “Scum tried to save their own on Day One”, I’m okay with putting some of my stronger suspicions of him on the back burner for now.
