I believe more than half our clues are true, though.
While you’re technically correct per the rules, we have no way of knowing what exact percentage of clues is true, and are best served by assuming a worst-case scenario. And, with only two states available, the odds of any individual player having a true clue are 50%, as my clue being true or false cannot affect the odds of your clue being true or false.
You’re not going to talk me out of this. Relying solely on your clue for a vote is lazy and mathematically worse than random.
If more people were participating, maybe I would have more to make a case on. For now, this game is somewhat dead and I will leave my votes as are.
Should we just lynch the quiet? Or request them all to be mod-killed for our action today?
Come on, dude. Only forty posts ago, in his only post of the day and the Day 4 lynch/kill post to boot, Storyteller suggested he’d deal with the lurkers. You must be willfully missing this stuff at this point.
Vote Mahaloth
You may be active, but you sure as hell aren’t actually paying attention to the game.
Yeah, I’m ready to vote Mahaloth again too. He goes on and on about his clue and how he’s wetting his pants wanting to post it but doesn’t because everybody else won’t post theirs. But now just about everyone has posted their clue but he now doesn’t want to post his and yet: He’s voting based on his clue and still refuses to post it because???
vote Mahaloth
Idle’s clue suggests that there is a secret Scum unknown to his teammates. Will anyone speculate on the mechanism whereby Scum would learn their secret teammate’s identity and invite him to the Scum board?
It might be plausible that one of the Scum would have a clue like Mahaloth’s to narrow the search for their secret teammate.
What do you want us to speculate about? If scum have such a clue, we’ll never know unless they post it, and town can’t act in any way to circumvent their search, short of lynching the hidden scummer first.
You’re still assuming Idle is accurately reporting his clue, which we know for a fact he isn’t, by at least one word.
And you know what? I still want him dead more than Mahaloth for that.
Unvote Mahaloth.
I won’t weep if Mahaloth is lynched (what is up with his play?), but Idle Thoughts is withholding information from town for no reason. Past Idle Thoughts even agrees with me.
And for reference, here’s the wrong-by-one-word clue:
I contend there is no single word that could drastically change the meaning of this clue. There aren’t even that many words that could be added while maintaining the sentence structure.
What could the missing word be? There is NOT a scum player…?
Astral, take it for what it is worth. I think my poor play in this game has been vastly exaggerated, perhaps due to absence of, you know, a huge amount of players.

Inner Stickler, Mahaloth… your votes for Scathach are worthless from a “trying to find scum” angle. Storyteller will deal with her, and her lynch will yield us little if any information.
To anyone voting for more than one person - this 7-way tie illustrates that you are clearly hurting town. At this point, I think it’s very wise to pick only one target.
If you’d actually address my points, I might be inclined to agree with you. You’re voting for a player our mod will deal with, and another player based on Day 0 information. I have little sympathy for the votes you’ve gotten based on that behavior.
I know that the Arkham game a few years ago had secret scum (Commish Gordon) with no knowledge of the fellow scum. I believe he got access to the scum board by being investigated by the scum (maybe the other way around - I can’t seem to find the spoiled board, and I’m not looking too hard).
My recollection was that Gordon never made it to the main board. We didn’t have a good way of locating him - a clue like Mahaloth’s would be useful to either side of that grouping in trying to join up the scum team.
i have to agree with this. i didn’t believe DaphneBlack immediately. i didn’t vote her either. this isn’t to say Inner is town but i wouldn’t vote him for this reason.
it’s certainly not airtight. i was one of the few who kept going after Texcat. elaborate bussing strategy?
yeah, i didn’t pursue Texcat. I just kept voting for her. admit it. either you’re scum or you hate that i keep voting for you.
i’m actually interested to why people aren’t voting you. you were in danger yesterDay.
well, that won’t stop me.
Vote Darth Sensitive
i would like to add that OMGUS isn’t necessarily a bad strategy. you’ve been playing in your little mafia world for too long. scum vote for town all the time. so you can get scum that way. i got Texcat, didn’t i?
Guys. There are 13 of you left in the game. Somebody comment on something.
At the very least, unvote all but your top suspicion. This tie is incredibly bad for town.
OK. Despite that some will find any comments an excuse to vote me. :smack:
Mahaloth’s play may not be pro-Town, but that doesn’t make him Scum. Maybe I’m gullible, but I doubt Scum would risk the accusations he’s getting. And Mahaloth did cast 3rd vote on TexCat Day 3.
Since the two voting you have cast only single votes, your request is somewhat self-sacrificial.
Anyway, another way to break the tie is with more multiple voting. Unfortunately those I find suspicious have only zero or one votes right now.
Vote: Darth Sensitive
Vote: sinjin

I wish to point out to everyone, again, that Astral is, again, heavily pressuring me to reveal my clue…a clue he knows to (possibly) have extra info that scum weren’t told.
He appears to be the only one pressing me this hard to reveal my clue.
I have a clue that benefits scum and only scum and AR has been on my back to reveal it for the last two days.
You must realllllly want to know it badly, don’t you? I wonder why…
So again, if/when I die, I hope AR finally gets the scrutiny he deserves. It’s long overdue, in my opinion.
Oh, you mean AR who’s consistently been one of the top votegetters every Day? Yeah, he’s really been skating by.
Vote Idle Thoughts
I will not be unvoting Scathach. Storyteller has not actually specified how or when he will deal with lurkers. We don’t know if he’s planning to do it Today, we don’t know if he’ll kill them, and we don’t know that if he does kill them we’ll get a flip. I think Scathach is scum and I want to know for certain their alignment.
Yes, he is…considering he’s not been lynched yet and that you just proved my point for me by putting me in the lead with votes over him.
Vote Inner Stickler for doing just that, in fact.
For saying “Yeah, he’s really been skating by” while—at the same time—allowing AR to do just that (by voting for me and saving AR from the vote lead yet again).
Oh, and in the interest of self-preservation of course, because I know I’m Town and I’m not sure about you.
