Mafia: Cecilvania [Game Over]

But if he is town, we won’t necessarily get a “guilty” reading. And if he’s scum, he doesn’t have to bus a scum mate. He can falsely accuse one of us! We would then lynch the person he turns in, and then we’d be like, “D’oh! we killed a townie” and he’d be all, “Ha ha! you don’t get to kill a Werewolf till tomorrow, n00bs!” Your logic is really mixed up.

Where do you think it is?

No!
That’s silly and will muck up the Data!
If you’ve NOT voted don’t just be a “me too” voter!
It MUCKS up the Data (even though i yelled at shadow earlier about it) it’s the right thing to do.

I want to see who voted for Wanders and who voted for Slit and WHY THEY DID IT.

So don’t just “me too” your ass into voting. If you’re a one off voter, you take the risks and suspicions that come off with being a one off voter.
Just JUSTIFY Your vote and that’s all. But dont just pick one or the other!

And I’m sadly out for now. Good luck guys!

I moved my vote from BM to FS in post 498.

Oh dammit…I just lost my post responding to this. Yes, it is more clear this way. I wasn’t doubting your logic, it just seemed missing from that post. My question is…doesn’t it seem an almost too-obvious ploy?

And in regards to my OAOW vote : It wasn’t scummy that he was just agressive, but rather the vote changes with little or no justification in the post he voted beyond a mere “what he said” or simply jumping on story’s slip right away. That kind of agression coupled with very little reasoning for the vote seems to be a minor attempt to hide motivation, and doesn’t seem very townie to me.

Sorry, no.

I think we’re just going to have to agree to disagree on this. Outside of extreme last minute claims, like Mad’s last game, or games with weird power role distributions, like Batman, town in my experience isn’t all that suspicious of role claims, nor do they generally have a reason to be. You obviously disagree. I don’t see us reaching a consensus on it.

Apperantly some people don’t like the “all mod vote counts are correct” suggestion. So, updated vote count.

Sorry about that, some things are bound to fall throught the cracks when you have more than one person updating the count.
40 minutes to go.

I am going to lunch. I will try to be back in quickly enough to end the Day in a timely fashion, but it may post a half an hour late or so. Thanks for your patience.

Yep. Thanks for saying it so I didn’t have to.

And to respond to your question about Freudian, I find her slightly suspicious, but not enough to vote for. She has said some suspicious things, but upon a re-read of all her posts, she came across to me as someone who posts quickly and without always thinking things through. That made me more inclined to think she is town. Her lurking bothered me , too, but she has been more active today, and if I’m going to vote for a lurker, Hal is a much better candidate.

just factor in that everyone not voting freudian is tacitly lynching me, and cannot claim otherwise. I AM gonna come up town, and the people wasting their vote on a none runner could well be scum trying to stay out of the way. OK this won’t apply to all of them, but just bear it in mind.

You’d better, or I’m going to be pissed! :stuck_out_tongue:

Way I figure it I’ve done my bit. I’m just a vanilla, but I have helped cause a huge amount of polarised debate today. Hopefully this will help town win the game. Which will put me on the winning team even though I will be gone.

FTR, I actually had the opposite reaction to the pm post suggestion. I had completely forgotten that the vanilla pm was posted, hence my initial reaction. Thus, it’s entirely likely that she forgot as well. If she’d forgotten, and she’s vanilla, it explains her reaction and why she’d say that. If she’d forgotten, and she’s scum, it would be damn risky, because she’d essentially be outting herself, so that’s unlikely. If she remembered and she’s town, she’d know it was worthless and thus that’s unlikely. If she remembered and she’s scum, she only could hope that everyone else forgot, which is also fairly unlikely (though, perhaps least unlikely of those scenarios). Thus, I would tend to believe that is more likely to be a townie than a scum one.

Oops… I didn’t realize the Day was over until I saw the timestamp on my post. Sorry.

*It has come to the local athouraties attentions that, while the subject of Vampires and Werewolves is oft discussed, very few people actually know what these fould creatures are, or how they opperate. It is widely belived, for example, that a single silver bullit can slay a werewolf or that a head of garlic can keep you safe from Nosferatu.

Rest assured that these are not but folk tales meant to comfort small children as they fall asleep. The only reliable way to destroy a werewolf is to remove it’s head. Upon the removal of the head from the body of a werewolf the body itself will transmute showing the true shape and nature of the beast at hand*. For this purpose you have imported from a nearby village a very large, very heavy, and very sharp axe. You have also imported a very large, very heavy, and rather dull man to weild it. The man and the axe are both experts in their field, their field being death. They are the only things in this town that any of you are able to trust, and it is to their waiting arms that One and Only Wanderers, your friend and neighbor, has been delivered.

As he walks to the platform where man and axe reside, arms bound behind his back and escorted by two strong townsfolk, he has a wild gleam in his eye. There is something almost, you suspect, ferral about him. Could it be that you have chosen correctly, and so soon?

As Wanderer’s head is placed on the block he wispers his final words. You lean in, straining to hear what his oddly smiling mouth has to say, but all you hear is a single word. Wolf.

The axe comes down fast and true and OneAndOnlyWanderer’s head is removed quickly and almost bloodlessly from his body. It is not until the head reaches the ground that the first drop of blood begins to seep from his neck, the executioner is good at that he does.

You wait…

A moment longer…

Is it changing?

No, Wanderer’s is most decidedly human. The executioner’s axe glints in the fading light as he wipes it’s blade and returns it to it’s place of honor. Next to the gallows.

Slowly, wordlessly you exit the hall.*

OneandOnlyWanderer - Town

Has been killed.
Night 1 will last longer than 48 hours since neither Diver or myself will be able to start Day 2 until at least 6pm PDT 9pm eastern.

*There are of course, other ways to kill Vampires, as some of you may well know. Taking off their heads works well though. But that, along with the story of how werewolves are created, is a tale for another time.
