I think RoOsh is refering to the blunderbussing of story…One of the scum (Alfred) had the ability to instantly kill one of the people that voted to lynch him. Story caught on to it, but a little too late, and wound up dying (he was a doc, and can’t protect during the day). I think this is where RoOsh is going with that.
Err, nope, still not answering the question
Let me run through it again.
Now, I would like to survive the Night as well, but I get my investigation answer at the start of Night. Don’t forget that I cannot detect a Vampire Kill, so that only leaves the Wolf Kill, given that **pedescribe ** has claimed a Cabal one (add small mountain of salt).
How does me investigating **brewha ** and getting my results at the start of the Night confirm my role?
You are Correct, Sir!
Well, not quite the gist of what I was saying here, but you did correctly nail the reference. I’m worried that it’s not a specific thing (ie: as in My game where the kill got to be chosen by the scum- as voting there would have no consequence- the scum could just choose NOT to kill his buddies).
But rather, I seem to recall in a game where there were evil sorts about, and when he died, one of the voters who randomly voted for him died- regardless of alliance.
That’s why your unvoting of Peds is disturbing to me. Because in that case, those who unvoted early, well that’d be the smart thing to do if you knew it was random and coming. That plus a published “Trust list” by our Lynchee makes me REALLY worried. Wasn’t the game with the random killing Conspiracy 1 or was it the Cult Mafia game?? I remember it had cultists or something in it, and like an inventor or something, and it was the head guy who if he died would randomly kill a voter, regardless of alliance. Me thinks Peds might be doing that- he did say he was the king…
And so that being said. WHY the One off, Peeks?
You know of what’s going down, and trying to avoid it?
Of course, I could just wait until the Dusk to ask these sorts of hard hitting questions as then we’d all know if the shytes gone down, but hell, i’d rather get this out now in case I’m not here then, ya know?
And I think there’s a misunderstanding here…I’m not implying you investigate brewha at all…I was (as I tend to do) linking together a sort of stream of consciousness there about you investigating, separate from, brewha being confirmed when his info about darth comes about.
Ok, got it this time around. It’s actually two sentences spliced together rather than one total sentence.
Sentence #1: You hope the detective gets a reading toNight.
Sentence #2: You hope that the Nightkill of **brewha ** confirms him as Town.
Thanks for clearing that up.
You sound like you are talking about the Avatar of Sekham.
One important fact about the Avatar was that not even the character with the role knew he was the Avatar. The only people who could find out were the Oracle and his Apprentice. (We didn’t.)
Another fact about the Avatar was that the player to die was chosen at random from all the voters for the Avatar’s player - even other Cultists. Unless, the Martyr was among those players, in which case the Martyr died.
There was an administrative snafu which resulted in the revenge killing not being carried through at the time, and the Martyr died at noon the next Day. The player with the Martyr role was none other than our current Game Organiser, so he certainly has reason to recall that power.
Whether Pedescribe has a Bomb or not is something we can’t know. But if he does, and is not an Undead, then Peekercpa should come under serious scrutiny. (If Pedescribe is an Undead, there’s no reason to suppose Peekercpa had extra knowledge of the Bomb, since the Undead are solitary types.)
Dun dun dun!!! :dubious:
So THATS why he put together this game, it’s all an elaborate and complex set up at a chance for revenge on all of us!
Ok, I was thinking about this at work today. And trusting that knowledge will be good for the town I’ll let you know why. And if my logic is fauxed just let me know.
I had reason to PM pleo about the rules of this game.
At the end of my PM I said:
Bolding mine.
I PM’ed back to ask if I could share that statement publicly - If you want the exaxct quote of my PM I will post it.
Now I certainly don’t have PKS but I am going to assume that our Mod does.
So if 4 kills in one cycle is slow and things are going to “speed up” I have to lean on some more of the experienced players to help provide guidance on where the extra blood is going to come from.
I’ll go first so that the impertinence of straying from the herd mentality can get shot down in flames.
I just gotta believe that we have wolves and a Vamp. Maybe a killing cabalist? Where is the speed going to come from if not a vig or some day killing power. For that matter where did the third kill come from last night? Gotta be a vig or another killing scum and if one of the targets was doubled up then cripes. A fourth (or fifth) killing scum power seems awful unbalanced except for the cross kill aspect. In that case there would be so many dead bodies piling up that beginning tonight the Nec is going to have a statistical probability of zombying someone and it just gets stronger as the Nights progress.
All this assuming that our Mod was being truthful in his PM to me. I am operating on the assumption that Pleo is not an NBA ref.
Although he is a Lakers fan which makes us hicks down here in San Antonio a little suspicious.
I’m really starting to get suspicious of peekercpa. I’m toaking him off the trust list.
Also,
Unvote No Lynch
Vote Koldanar
Because…I don’t like him.
And story, hal, roosh, hm and roosh, et flippin’ everyone else. If my previous post requires more discussion I am here. Heck, pede could be a bomb for all I know. He could also just be a vanilla scum who just got caught with his pants down.
Just trying to talk to all you nice friendly paranoid folks.
And if it’s a one off that you are really concerned about (or a bomb) I’ll move my vote before manana’s deadline. Just like in real life. Moooooooo.
Well if we are “toking” just let me know and I’ll pick up the suds.
I’ll turn you into the authorities tomorrow p.m. and all will be right with the rest of the herd.
Well I see I haven’t missed much. How long until the pedebird starts to slowly decay towards singing?
And one of those rooshs was supposed to be an mhaye. Let’s see what scum makes an issue of that first.
You want singing? I got singing.
Shuddup you! :bonks **pedescribe ** on da head:
:grumble grumble, favorite holiday song ruined forever:
Thanks, I was curious about that- just SHEESH, I know I’m a paranoid guy and yeah the whole Milkman thing, but do i really need to be on there twice?
I said it was my bad. Not much I can do about a typo. Oh well. I laid it out from my demented town position. pede looks to swing. We still will have some time during the Night but for now I guess we take our bird in the hand and just frigging hope.
I think it is too easy and based on my previous posts is kind of short sighted but… since there are more scum than town based on the set up, you bet, going with the general concensus is going to lead to a … whoops - bad town outcome.
Just seems to easy, which, of course, is going to make me paranoid.
Just my nature, I guess.
And if it makes the rest of you any more comfortable.
[Colorred]unvote cog
[colorblue]vote pede
That way if there is something that will happen I’ll be right in the middle with the rest of you. Unless there is something thay happens on x number of votes (hyper paranoia sets in and I have gamed it so that I have a vote).
Can’t step away from the herd/flock and all that, don’t you know. Moooooooo. That would make me a baaaaaaad boy. Oh whoops, different flock.
And let’s see which scum takes that one.
Ps - I removed the color so it is not official. Will do so manana. Just trying to make a point.
peekercpa: When **Pleonast ** said the game should speed up, where does it say he was talking about extra kills?
I can think of:
[ul]
[li]It might refer to the number of days in a Day dropping so people have to play quicker[/li][li]It might refer to the fact that more information will come out so people can perform more analysis leading to better play[/li][li]It might refer to the fact **storyteller ** caught someone and toDay was very quick to organise a lynch[/li][/ul]But I don’t think it can be used to confirm the existence of a Vigilante given there are multiple other possible reasons for his comment.
Sorry, but your logic is flawed, please try again.
You are right, it did not say anything about additional kills. Although since pede seems to be a killing faction, I don’t see how his elimination will “speed” things up. If he is a wolf or a killing cabal with testate abilities then things stay the same. If he is vamp, one shot killing cabal or vig then things slow down from the night kill stand point.
And now that you posit this it could just be that the Days will be getting shorter from here on out. It would not be the first time that my logic in these games has been less than accurate.
And since I said I would do this and am unsure of my ability to get back before the end of the day.
Unvote Cog
Vote Pede
Looks like Cog may very well be toast in any event.
I sure hope so if I start of another day with lynch the lurker I’m going to get strung up no matter what.
