Hahaha. OK, fine. I guess it’s my turn in the hot seat. If I did the same, though, I’d be voting zeriel or Natlaw, and I don’t think that’s a great idea. They haven’t picked up many votes and I don’t see it happening any time soon. So
Amrussell has a good point about me changing my tune on him. Those two statements were separated by a few days, and after reading more and more of his analysis, it all started to run together. It was probably a bad move on my part to let that influence my attitude toward him so strongly. I need to re-evaluate him big time, because he was right about JSexton all along. Amrussell and I use very different styles for trying to catch scum. Mine is all about the votes, and it hasn’t been working well yet this game, but I know there are other players who rely on voting records heavily also. (That’s why I put the spreadsheet together.) Whereas amrussell sifts through statements made and tried to find contradictions and changes in tone. Hey, it’s a valid method, and he actually caught a scum! Go amrussell!
So basically my defense is that I was confusing different styles of play with different motives in the game. It’s crappy play, which doesn’t surprise me coming from myself :o but is not excusable. Sorry guys.
Anyway, I’m still voting special ed. I know that he voted JSexton at a crucial time yesterDay, but saving him would have looked really bad when he turned up scum, and he wasn’t going to last another day. Is this really stretching it? I don’t think it makes him a townie to vote for a scum (yes, I’m banking on him doing it multiple times) when he’s up 4-2 at the very end of a Day and almost certainly going down.
