Paranoia about carryover is contagious, so I vote brewha
Undead deadites. Please try to pay attention.
Why? Ask Story. He made this stuff up.
I really doubt I wouldn’t have gotten any pressure. Or that I would have survived this long had I outed myself.
The last mafia game I played, I had the power to protect/roleblock. Someone asked me about it, and I came out - assuming that town doesn’t lie. I got NK’d that night.
I guess lying is part of the game these days, huh, Pede?
IDK, why not? What can it hurt? If get blocked, and no one dies? Lynch me tomorrow - it’ll prove I’m scum and the game will be over. If I get blocked and someone dies, it’ll prove that there’s scum out there and that scum is not me.
Or, lynch me today and lose the town’s ability to vanquish undead deadites. Probably won’t affect the outcome of the game since we’re so far ahead. If we do take this route, have a good look at who’s really pushing for my lynch.
Right now, If I had to rank it, I’d say Special Ed is pushing the most.
wy do all the dying scum keep picking on me?
If ya’ll want to try this, feel free to lynch me. But I suggest you ONLY do it if total lost returns and is able to block brewha.
If she isn’t back yet, it would be silly, since she won’t block him.
Also, be careful if we lose another mostly dead person. Brewha might have a power that allows him to block a roleblocker or force a night killing through some other way.
That’s bull. You got killed because you lied. You said you could self-protect. But you couldn’t. If you had said you couldn’t self-protect, you probably would have been protected.
Because if we lynch you today, we win today. If we lynch you tomorrow, we win tomorrow.
Brewha, for the record, at this point you’re getting lynched because you lied about your PM. In addition to your incredibly suspicious voting pattern.
Come on! Had I kept my mouth shut, would’ve I been night killed? It’s not that cut and dry.
Yeah, I did say I could self protect when I couldn’t - but that was more of a game of chicken with the scum.
Zerial, for the record I got two PMs. Is no one paying attention. It’s just a “hey let’s kill Brewha” fest regardless of what I say.
That sucks. Oh, well - here’s hoping I die a complete death. Been fun guys.
Accusing me of not paying attention to detail and then misspelling my name is kinda rich. You’re flailing. You need to stop doing that if you’re actually town.
Fine, You got me. I’ve been living a lie.
Mafia: Evil Dead - Role PM
Welcome to the game; you are The Famous Actor
ALIGNMENT: Playing for Keeps
GENERIC: Vigilante
WIN CONDITION: All Deadites have been vanquished or you take the lead actor’s role.
BACKGROUND:
At first glance, there is nothing particularly noteworthy about your appearance or your evident role. You are among at least a dozen minor characters who populate this movie’s background, filling in critical chunks of exposition via clunky dialogue sequences. You’re the ambitious film student, the oblivious parent, the well-meaning but genially bumbling physics professor. Your lines are few, your character is underwritten, and under most circumstances, you’d be forgotten by the audience by he middle of the film’s second act.
But not in this movie. You see, in this movie, you are being played by a Famous Actor Who Really Seems Like He Should Have a Bigger Part, and that can mean only one thing: to save this movie, you need to eliminate the hack that is playing the lead role and take his place.
If you fail to eliminate the lead actor, you can still win if the town is victorious.
POWERS:
- At Night, you may choose one person to kill. If that person is the lead actor (playing the hero Ash) and the kill is successful, you will take over the lead role and the game will be yours.
That’s my actual role PM. I figured if you discovered that I have been killing on my own, that would be enough for the death penalty for me.
Why am I spilling this now? Well, in my possesion is the Necronomicon. This, and this alone has the power to vanquish undead deadites.
Early on, I killed diggitcamera (sorry diggit!) because I thought he was Ash (the real Ash not the fake one). Diggit was in possesion of the Necronomicon, and since I killed him, it is now mine.
If I get lynched, the book is lost. So, while I was lying, I was telling the truth about my ability to eliminate deadites.
I can night kill, and while I did try last night, I’m guessing the scum did as well. I’m do think we still have a doc and the doc picked the correct target.
Yeah, this is probably too late, but if I’m spared today, I’ll kill on behalf of the town at night.
Pick a target, and that target will die. If no one is blocked, it’s likely that another target will die as well.
Sorry about the deception. I hope it’s not too late to do right by the town.
This is funny. I just want you to know that I really appreciate the effort you’re putting in here. Never give in, never surrender. But seriously - why didn’t you kill Cookies when she claimed?
Cookies claimed she was ash, but not “the real ash”. I kinda assumed she was Ash Jr. or something.
It’s all in her role claim.
I actually deleted the pm where I got the book. But, remember Diggit’s investigative ability? It wasn’t because of his role, it was because of the book:
Well, you must have been gutted when you found out the truth.
Any theories about why scum didn’t kill anyone on the Night you killed DC?
I’ll be honest–even if you are telling the truth (which I’m not sure of yet), I’m not exactly worried about losing a PFK. On the other hand, the Necronomicon…if there is only one scum left, and it isn’t you…if they got that book, could it swing the game? That’s the question (if you’re telling the truth).
I’m guessing no. Does anyone more familiar with the lore want to fill me in on what the Necronamican is?
so, we had a 3rd 3rd party killer in this game, and still had so few Night kills?
There’s so much here not to believe.
My operating theory is this:
The Scum did kill Diggit. They got the book that way.
They’ve been passing the book to whomever among them is unlikely to be lynched, thereby keeping it in their possession. It now resides with brewha.
The book does give them the power to vanquish the mostly dead. (and probably more powers…all the more reason not to let brewha keep it…even on the very small chance that he is 3rd party)
If, by some chance, we lynch brewha and he’s Scum and a town player doesn’t get the book and the game isn’t over, then we still have another Scum.
If we do get the book, then we can vanquish the mostly dead and win.
His use of the 5 mostly dead might have undesirable consequences aside from allowing him to survive the lynch.
There are still more mostly dead players. We should not allow him to usa them. There may also be additional mostly dead players if we don’t lynch him.
I don’t believe story would allow the game to be lost by lynching the person who somehow got the book through a kill.
So many thoughts come so quickly as to why I still don’t believe brewha.
When does this Day end?
Yeah, there’s probably little chance that the scum could swing the game at this late stage even if they do get the book. But, if they do, at least the blame will lay on all of you voting for me at this point. I just didn’t want to go down as losing the game for the town.
I gotta get back to work, depending on when the day is over, this will probably be my last post.
Here’s one for you–Who’d you try to kill?
Also, why don’t you pass the book to one of the confirmed?
