I will stop lecturing people on being hostile if you agree to stop attacking me. You’re not one to be complaining about hypocrites either.
More important matters: If someone could vote me the healing potion it would be very much appreciated.

I’m sorry, this game is really frustrating the utter crap out of me and what’s pissing me off is that scum are sliding through by (probably) lurking.
This is gonna be a long fucking Night.
I’ll make a new chart soon, by the way. Still at work.
Your initial comment intimated different. Hence *my * comment.
fair enough
@ all
this game * is * frustrating.
don’t take it personal.
outbursts ( or what ever you want to call them ) directed at players will not make your socks match.
we will get through this
I am still thinking that this is an unconventional set up
( remember the sign-up thread?)
I don’t think that it is * impossible * that Pizza created a game where the players change the balance= we can change roles . We can change our law/moral alignments. We don’t know what our new role does until we get there .
for the record I did nothing last Day that would or did effect anyone behind the scenes. ( I did vote)
I have to admit ** Normal’s ** position has me puzzled.
Double vote
Impervious to Day attacks
Takes no damage at Night ( unless I missed something)
It appears the triple voter is snuggles with ** Normal **
** Normal ** seems to have a lot of inbox action ( talking PM’s here)
It does make a player think, Non?
( I know it’s Night if this kills me this kills me= I’m posting when I have time)
BTW if you think that’s a smudge- have at me. It’s an observation-
Quick correction, at least as far as I see it. The below comments are observations:
Now these…
These are smudges. Just IMHO. ![]()
I don’t know ** Normal’s ** alignment.
I don’t know if another player might want to protect ** Normal ** for whatever
I don’t know if a bad guy might want to set me up
Does that help?
Hey, it’s no problem with me if you want to smudge or accuse or express doubt or whatever sounds best. It’s all part of the game, and these are strange developments (and by “these” I mean just about everything that’s happened in this game) so I think hashing stuff out is fine. But let’s call a spade a spade. We’re all unsure of who everyone else is, at least, Towniewise. So of course we’re going to be suspicious.
Two topics to put up for discussion, one of which I forgot about:
PetW: so far as I can tell, s/he was the only person so far whose alignment was completedly shadowed or hidden or obscured from us. What might this mean?
The color said that among Gnarlycharlie’s personal items was a boatload of letters and so on that indicated his fealty to someone else (emphasis pizzamod’s). His fate seems to have been linked with this other person – or I suppose thing, if it’s Phere, but I just can’t see Phere being the “Dear gnarly yadda yadda yadda XOXOXO Phere” correspondence type.) Any guesses? I don’t recall getting any sense that gnarlycharlie was in cahoots with anyone, but that doesn’t mean anything… my senses aren’t all that acute.
If I had to take a totally wild-ass guess, though, I would suggest fubbles. Far as I know, he’s the only other 3rd party type we’ve seen here.
Are these good avenues for discussion or bad? Just tossing them out there.
Gnarly’s role was probably a lover role of some kind.
One wherein he had to somehow identify or otherwise recognize his inamorata in order for the lover aspect to fire? I’m thinking he was some sort of bounty hunter and perhaps thought Gad was his target.
I thought “lovers” meant that if one dies, the other one dies too. A Romeo/Juliet sort of thing.
I may be putting too much emphasis on the color (but that’s the fun part of this for me) but I don’t see why a bounty hunter would have an assload of correspondence with his target. Further, the color said that his goal was to survive, not kill one specific person the way a bounty hunter would.
Also, welcome back to the game, Inner!
Then I guess we’re back to the mercenary idea. Gnarly was hired by someone to survive? kill? something else?
Thanks but I’ve been back for a Day or so, I just haven’t been around much. Three mafia games and a new job are tuckering me out something fierce.
too many are ass/u/ming 3rd party
have you changed your alignment to neutral neutral and you are now 3rd?
I don’t read that the changes change your town/scum/3rd alignment but I’m not there.
I went law neutral to change character It DID NOT change my Town alignment or my wincon
still good ( morally) I think…
Really I don’t know which was changed to neutral but just one was.
Pizzamod set himself with ahuge task . arg. and full role changes don’t get sent ( not bitching just sharing)
My understanding is that law alignment changes may affect your class eligibility but moral alignment changes will make a difference to your wincon. This certainly seemed to be implied in my change offer.
Now that there are fewer players, full updates/full role PMs is my goal for End Of Night.
Everyone got a fresh one day three. Should have one day six.
I just can’t do them every day. That’s insane.
Variations. No one role is set in stone. I’ve seen lovers where if one dies, the other doesn’t. I’ve also seen (and hosted) games where if one dies, so does the other. It depends. Knowing Pizza, it is likely that gnarly was searching for someone or aiming for someone to survive the game, as stipulated in the role PM.
Some players seem to be worried about attacking Lord Phere in case the king is killed, surely the game won’t end if Lord Phere is killed? What if he does die, the king could be released perhaps? That doesn’t sound right to me, if that was the case then we should have been playing D&D and not Mafia.
I don’t think that Normal could have had 5 votes attributed to her, that would be far too powerful.
This is going to be a long night.
