Mafia Reunion Day 4

I agree. We’ve got what seems like a thousand pages of people arguing back and forth over which Town player to kill. Multiple lynches will reveal more if we can actually hit some Scum. And if we keep missing targets with about 1/3 of the remaining players Scum, we are likely to lose anyway.

I was just skimming your case on **TexCat **from Day 3. FWIW I think it has some merit. Other than wrongly catching the **Colby **slip on Day 1, I don’t see much Scum hunting from TexCat. Her vote on **crys75 **on Day 2 is part of a lynch-the-Lutha campaign I find unhelpful at this time. I usually think of **TexCat **as more engaged than she has been in this game. OTOH, I have had trouble keeping up, so I cannot really fault others in this respect.

Happy Bday to ME! WOOOOOOHOOOOO! (Yes, I’m on the West Coast, but i was born in the Eastern Time Zone)

My problem is that he recalled specific details of older games but not a recent one where he made it to end game? And this isn’t the same as not remembering the names of the factions. Its forgetting there were two factions.

You and the groundhog. Happy birthday!

Meh, I don’t see it as an issue for anything in this game.

Happy birthday! Guess who’s having his tomorrow?

But it is strange, isn’t it?

@Biotop:  I’m still up for lynching her. I did Day 2 and 3 yesterDay, and while nothing really stood out, the* lack* of anything really stood out. She amped up her participation a bit, but IMO didn’t actually contribute anything significant. But again, take into account that I felt much of Day 2 was a distraction to scum hunting, TexCat seemed happy to take part in that. If you feel the second half of Day 2 was constructive, I guess you won’t find that argument so compelling.

I assume you are implying that it will be your bday on the 3rd. How many thousands of hours ate you ahead of pacific time? I’LL cheers you at your midnight, and it will still be my bday!

Is it? It was like a 1/4 to 1/3 of a year ago. I have trouble remembering what I ate for dinner last week, yet I know I ate. And it was yummy.

I keep forgetting she is in the game until she posts. I might be conviced to look into her tomorrow when I get to work…

Yup, the 3rd. I’m at CEST.

I don’t remember what I ate last week either, but I do remember a game I invested several weeks of my time in.

And that I feel is a pretty good argument for keeping an eye on her.

It’s she, although it doesn’t really matter to me whether you think I’m a she, he or it.

I actually figured I would wait until Day to respond to you so it would be in the more current thread. I apologize for how I’ve quoted from the other thread, but I’m not sure the correct way to do it - the following are from the D3 thread - post numbers are included.

First of all, I didn’t vote for Thing Fish - I FOS-ed him. Plus I had reasons to find him suspicious, and lo and behold, he was Scum. Ummm, that would make me…right? But you’re saying I wasn’t - wow, confusing…

Thing Fish accused me of posting fluff, discussing game mechanics, and voting for Brewha on D2. I responded to these with reasonable explanations - I haven’t posted much at all, let alone fluff - I think the only fluffy thing I posted was about Star Trek DS9 maybe? The game mechanics were relevant and the discussion of them resulted in clarification. A LOT of people voted for Brewha who was caught in a lie. But I’m pretty sure I already said all this.

Okay, I will admit I did not word this very well and that I also didn’t go back and check on the roles when I posted it. So yes, I made an assumption that I was investigated by Scum who then knew I was Town and whether or not I have a significant role (which I am not going to say). Thing Fish’s vote and reasons really felt to me like someone looking for a quiet place to put a bogus vote in order to remain under the radar and out of the larger voting pools. It was a feeling I had about his crappy justifications and nothing more than that.

So you are suggesting I’m a Wolf and that I wanted to bus my team mate who had pretty much no chance of being lynched? That makes sense (not). Oh, and I didn’t actually vote for him anyway.

I took an instinctual guess about Thing Fish being Scummy and I was right - I don’t understand why you have such a problem with this. I did not know he was Scum, but I suspected it, and my suspicions panned out.

Sorry, not that “clever”. I also don’t believe I was the first one to question Idle’s inactivity. What does my expressing sadness about Town deaths have to do with thinking Idle might be Scum?

WHA??? I’m a Wolf because I put the Word Wolf before the word Mafia? Not that this even deserves a justification but I’m an animal person over a people person so would typically put animals first.

I believe the majority of people voting for Idle voted for meta reasons and many stated they didn’t like doing that. And again, I was not the first one to bring up the meta issues.

I didn’t want to add anything more to my previous colossal message so starting a new one.

So Johnny Bravo’s case on me is basically repeating the same few points several times and not even getting everything right (I didn’t vote for Thing Fish and I wasn’t the first to mention Idle’s inactivity/meta issues). You accuse me of “manufacturing” a post yet you seem to be doing some manufacturing of your own. I’m getting that same instinctual Scummy vibe from you as I did from Thing Fish.

FOS Johnny Bravo

I will also:

FOS Hoopy Frood

For jumping on Johnny’s ideas without adding anything. It seems like it could be a lazy Scum move.

He’s on my list, and others have put up a fairly good case.[/QUOTE]

Thank you.

Please take a look at my response and think twice about that.

I’m not sure how I feel about this but I wanted to mention that my first instinct about the switches was that they are held by opposite teams - which would mean the Dr. Seward switches would be held by the two Scum teams. However I was wrong in regards to the Batman switch. Considering that was a Vig switch, and a Vig could potentially be bad for Town, it might be reasonable for Town to hold a Vig switch even if the “standard” is for the opposite teams to hold others.

I’m not saying this makes Biotop suspicious, but it may be something to consider in the future should other questions arise.

Happy Birthday!

Yeah. I think I’ll take a break for a month of so after this one.

Sorry, forgot the birthday song!

Snipping, and bleaching.

Also, commenting as I catch up, so I apologize if things have been stated.

From my notes, and reading, Diggit has flown completely under my radar. Has he(he, right?) been avoiding posting much on anything meaty? I’ll take a look back (or see if someone already did it this day).

Too much meta for me here - I’ve been out of these games since 08? 09? So for those of us either out of practice, or new to the game / players here, that would have us leaving a lot of trust in those that dictate these things.

Look at this! I agreed with Paul, hah

You don’t suspect that there is a serial killer out there? With a game this large, and that we know there are some 3p out there, I wouldn’t be surprised.

I would be surprised if a 3p team of 5 had some way to kill - that seems like too good a team to have out there, unknown to the players.
