Biotop’s explanation makes some sense, even though I don’t agree with the logic of assuming the other switch holder might have died after only two scum were killed. Seems to me that the odds would favor the other switch holder still being alive, but I can see the logic of what Biotop was doing even though I don’t agree with it.

I would prefer to still lynch Hooker Chemical based on the theory I outlined early in the Day, but I don’t want to end the day with a one off vote. I think the theory against Diggit is pretty decent with a lot of evidence in his post history to back it up. I looked over the reasons why his voters voted for him and they all seem to agree that he focuses too much on voting for third parties based on a WOW posted by Total Lost on Night Three.

The case against Boozahol Squid is less coherent, with people voting for him for different reasons, including a “meh” vote by Meeko. I think the case has merit, but the case for Diggit is stronger. I wouldn’t mind a second lynch, but that doesn’t seem possible with three hours to go. We would need at least 14 votes for both Diggit and Boozahol and right now the count is 11-8. That means we need nine more votes on both of them with the next three hours.

Eh. I still like the Biotop theory. Finding scum is going to need to rely on more subtle clues than players ‘acting scummy.’

Angel thought he was scum. I liked Ender’s case on him. And it seems like he’s gone defensive today after his Angel is dead therefore ProfP is scum logic leap. He made an easy OMGUS vote on Meeko and now a self-preservation vote on Diggit. He looks like scum who doesn’t want to say too much lest they give their teammates away.

How are you so certain they even clicked the link and saw the screenshot? I didn’t. At that point I didn’t care. Beyond that though, even if they did see it, posting a screenshot of your PM is beyond the pale and he double deserved to be voted off the island at that point. If you think their votes for him are scummy, then what about all the people who didn’t UNVOTE him after he posted it? Aren’t we all scummy too by your logic?

You are trying to build a case where none exists (and classifying my and Pudding’s votes out of context) which is what scum have to do.

But no one else seems to think you are the scummiest person today, so I will

A one-off vote isn’t going to do any good, but of the three leaders I am undecided as to which is the scummiest. They all smell scummy to me. I’m going to re-read the cases and vote by EoD.

Much busier weekend than expected… most of the day at a tournament yesterday, and various chores to do today before the Super Bowl gets here.

Anyway… of the lynch leaders, I’m still most suspicious of Prof P. However, he’s slipped firmly into 3rd place, and apparently safe for today (for the lynch anyway, who knows about other killin’ effects).

I think we currently have a tie right now, and we’ve been constantly told that ties are bad, so a vote for Prof certainly wouldn’t make that any better.

I do get a more scummy vibe from him, and can follow that case a little better. The case against **Boozahol **seems to rely a bit on a personal meltdown, which may not be the best indicator.

Ideally, we’d get enough votes on both for the double-lynch - guess we’ll see with an hour to go.
