Mafia Reunion Day 6

I am suspect of ** hawkeye ** * thanks ** Guiri ** for doing my homework.*
His posts bugged me and the ‘answers’ don’t make me feel any better about 'm.

I also suspect ** Captain K ** prevous post pnged me and there s most recently these

wn stealers are a problem for every player- why the focus?

Very weak on reasoning.

** Inner ** appears a foregone conclusion. And I often hestate to join in on those.and his lack of response leaves me fine with that lynch.

** Ender ** see on preview that you are maintaining your minimal posting to prevent MKill- will revisit you as well.

**Khameleon ** on the other foot, was also on my radar. and most recent ‘reasonng’

Miss understanding or miss representng the exchanges wth PWIAG on one topic- and using it as a basis for a one off vote.

And, as I recall not confronting the players n question until this late.

RE: underlined bit. Thanks, but am participating ( you just have not been reading my posts)
( no special compensation required- f you think I am Scum because of my content have at me.)
** Vote Khameleon **

Reading my win-con there is no mention or illusion to a surprise ending.
YOU WIN if at any checkpoint (Dawn or Dusk) all 14 Scum players (Wolves + Mafia) are dead.

  • a bit surprised that ** crys ** never brought that bit up- that I noticed anyway *
f I were a cultist I would be using that as a hat rack.

Well, I sure as hell don’t have enough of an informed opinion to thrown down a vote, but getting modkilled isn’t going to help. So, I’m poking my head up in order to stop it from being lopped off.

Clearly I’m just skimming here <gasp!>, but this simply isn’t true.

I know I’ve been pretty non-participatory this game, but the bit of content I did produce (Day…3? 4?) was all about the scum hunt – specifically in calling out those who straight-up voted basically confirmed town. I believe both players came back with excuses, but (even though I wasn’t around to pursue it at the time) I looked at it as just that – excuses. I beleive Cookies was one, but don’t remember the other (nm, looked it up, it was PlumPudding).

I can’t honestly say I’ve followed closely enough to rebut what they’ve said since, but the point is – don’t say I never tried finding scum when I pointed out players who voted known town.

I understand the case on Inner, and I think it’s an OK lynch. My strongest scum lean is still TexCat though.

Vote TexCat

The issue is that it shows your priorities have become skewed.

By all means keep an eye on the evidence, but focus on getting ahead of the scum team(s) before taking what may well be a diversion.

I’ve been burned like that once, and it still irritates me that I let the serial killer win. Experience shows that SKs do more damage to Town than to the scum, simply because there are more Town. Also, SK wincons can be a little unusual (get a place in the last 5, for example). Lynching them early just gives the scum more time to achieve their wincon.

This is your first post all day, so I’m not sure you’re in a place to lecture me about my priorities in this particular game.

Evening all.

In post [post=20005147]post D06.086[/post] we have Koldanar saying: -

I have a little bit of information, and putting it out now may cause some ripples and shake one or two people up. So I’ve decided to claim now rather than wait any longer and risk my information getting lost to my side.

What side is that, you ask? I’ve told you; I am Town.

I spend the time I’m not stargazing keeping track of one of you, and checking who comes and knocks on your door, chats to you in the street, slits your gizzard with a knife, that sort of thing.

The only place I don’t go is the graveyard. Everybody knows it’s haunted, and no-one visits anyone there without a good reason.

So, let’s discuss who I’ve been watching and what I saw.

Day One I decided, after a semi-random pick, to watch Septimus. After all, Docs are popular targets for killers, even when there are two or more factions and the doc can protect against only one.

At the end of Day 1, Septimus had one, and only one visitor. That visitor was DarkCookies. The obvious early-game assumption was that she was the Outrider, but fortunately I waited for extra info to check that, and we learned that the Outrider was Boozy Squid. So that’s wrong. But we can be sure that DarkCookies is not a Mafiate; that if she is a Scum, she’s a Werewolf. Alternatively she might be an SK. We can rule out the AU Batman for her, as that is a Night-acting only role.

How? Werewolves kill at Night, but all their individual powers are Day actions. The Mafia are the other way around. So if DarkCookies were a Mafiate, she’d be loading her tommy-gun and packing it in her violin case for an anoymous hit, and not taking an individual action.

On Night One, Septimus may have entertained at his new home in the graveyard, but like I said, I don’t go there. There are all sorts of ghoulies and ghasties hiding there.

Day 2 was really sleep-inducing. I had a time setting up overwatch on Captain Klutz, and what happened? Nothing. Not (as the saying goes) an electronic sausage. Yes it’s out of context, but boy was that Day a bore.

Day Three was the Day of Action.

I decided to watch ToeJam, our other claimed Doc. What would happen? Well as it happens, quite a lot.

During the Day, ToeJam had two visits; the first from the hairy Boozahol Squird, and the second from Enderw24. All we can draw from this right now is that Ender has a Day action. We know what BS PI was trying, but it didn’t work.

During the Night, however, I saw Toejam being targeted by…

Toejam!

We can deduce from this that, in order to apply his protection to himself, he had to take positive action. We also can deduce that I would have seen septimus targeting himself on Day One if he had used his protection on himself (assuming that the two work the same way) and that since he did not target himself, he was unprotected. Therefore, either BS PI targeted the same player Septimus did, or DarkCookies is a killer. I’m open to suggestions.

Since Toejam was protected from killers, who killed him? The likely answer is the Mafia hitman. Did anyone other than Toejam (and myself) target Toejam, I hear you ask?

Why yes.

Hal Briston did.

Now, if we lose Hal to Modkill, that would be unfortunate but also save us haaving to lynch him. I’d vote him Today, but for reason’s I’ll be pleased to discuss if I survive the Day, I plan to post this just before Nightfall.

ETA: I see Hal just posted.

Vote Hal Briston.

Now we come to Day Four. For reasons approximating “it’s the squeaking axle that gets the WD40,” I decided to Watch people who seem to be making waves, and Hockey Monkey drew my attention on Day Four. The Day was unproductive, as no-one came to visit her.

Her only Night visitor was fourfold and four-footed; a pack of orange-furred monsters ensured that she did not get to kill anyone she had not already helped kill.

Day Five was just about as boring as Day Four. I targeted Paulwhoisaghost. He was left alone during the Day, and eaten by Wolves at night.

I’ve turned in a Watch order for Day Six, but I’m going to keep my own counsel about who it is if you don’t mind. Or even if you do. Not having anyone change their mind because they know I’m Watching their target.

For future Days, assuming I see such things, I would be OK with people making suggestions. I’m more likely to pay attention to your suggestions if you show your working.

Sorry for the lack of participation.

I made it only because I saw it as I was doing an end-of-day review and votecount, and wanted to get it in before placing a vote.

That’s not a lecture, that’s advice from a different perspective. Lectures, at least from me, tend to go on a bit.

Withdrawn. Awesome summation.

That’s the Day folks. Someone will be along to start Night shortly. It may be me. But I only just got home and need a bit of time to catch up on stuff.

There wouldn’t be any indication of third party win-stealers in the town’s wincon, for several reasons.

First, we don’t have to eliminate such players to win; we only have to eliminate the Wolves and Mafia and do so before any winstealers achieve their wincon.

Second, the rules are quite clear that the third party roles, including not just their wincon but their very existence, are hidden. Sachertorte’s death revealed the truth that a cult exists. Wheter there is an SK around is not known.

I know the day is over but wow. This is something up a shakeup in a great way. Thanks mhaye!

My Vote count shows Inner Stickler as the lynch leader. Anyone got something else? The other mods don’t seem to be around.

I double checked my count. Sticks gets the rope.

Sorry Sticks.

**Inner Stickler - vanilla town ** is now dead.

Killed senselessly by a disengaged body politic. If you don’t participate you have no right to complain.

Also, town’s greatest hero Batman was found beaten to a bloody pulp with a bullet placed in his head execution style.

Poor poor Batman. His mask was ripped of his face to reveal that he was in fact Hoopy Frood this entire time. And he dies without his towel. Sad.
Hoopy Frood - alternative universe Batman is dead.

Moving forward lets get it together a bit. Huh gang?

That’s impressive MHaye, Hal sure looks to be the hitman.

Cookies could be either SK or wolf, D1 is too soon to be understudy, and no reason for the Zoning Inspector to be there, lutha investigate by Night.

Ender could have inherited a Day power as understudy, I’m not seeing any reason for the Zoning Inspector to be around ToeJam though, looks more like wolf.

Farewell Inner & Hoopy.

at that time Town had only 4 possible Day actions- right? (two now dead) and it appears you are claiming one- no reason for the Building Inspector to be there-so DarkCookies isn’t Town

at that time Town had 2 Day actions and a potential mimic of the deceased EMT or The Investigative Journalist.right?so. Ender ‘could’ be Town?

having trouble following this bit but I will rethink it

fair assumption I think

You came back with a doozy

NETA if I am off on the number of Town Day actions- correct me.
