Everyone wants hostile third parties dead. Everyone also wants the other side to take care of them. Scum are unlikely to use their kill on them (except perhaps near endgame). So getting rid of them will fall upon the lynch.

I’m taking your claim at face value. If someone can counterclaim, I think they need to step up and do so, sooner rather than later.
There were two other deaths on N4, BillMc and Sunny. I’m guessing Batman got one of them and Cookies got the other? Or is there another killer who kills at night? The Septimus kill by Cookies was during the day. The other unexplained death was on D3 when JSGoddess and ThingFish were both killed. I’m guessing Cookies got one of them. If she just hadn’t killed our EMT, she’d have a pretty good record.

It’s been a long time with a really bad cold and I am only just started to eat and drink again. I would like to play the game and will do my best to catch up. But I also have stuff at work I need to look into after being in bed this long. Also - seems like my kids think they need my attention too - which is a nice thing considering that they are both teenagers.
So I recently received a copy of Elseworlds: Batman Vol. I, and there was no medieval Batman in it. Perhaps you can go Wild West on my ass instead?
I said one more claim would be OK if they chose to maybe they just don’t want to. I mean at some point we might just end up cannon fodder.

I was dreaming about this game last night. Very strange.
Thanks MHaye for the claim. I saw it last night but I wanted to check through the role PMs first just to find out if there’s a way that Scum could false claim something like this. From what I see, no. To my knowledge, all scum tracking powers only target the person they’re tracking to see what that person did, not who visited the person.
So I can at least confirm that MHaye is accurate in what he saw to the extent that it involves me. Given that, I’m willing to trust his claim for everything else. I thought about waiting just one more Day before claiming, but cat’s out of the bag now. Besides, given my low participation thus far, I might as well do something positive to assist the game.
Spoiler alert: it ain’t much. But I’ll give you what I can.
I’m the understudy.
I had the choice of Investigative Journalist, Homicide Detective and EMT. I immediately rejected EMT. I figured I’d spend most every Day protecting myself, which is a bit less fun than masturbation and gets us no closer to solving the game. I considered Homicide Detective. It’s 2 to 3 times as effective at narrowing down suspects…but it can also be role blocked and give false negatives.
Right or wrong, I chose Investigative Journalist.
Day 2, I chose ToeJam. He was one of the top vote getters Day 1. The other two flipped Town and I figured we had to have had one scum in our crosshairs. He was who I voted for and I wanted to know.

Day 3, I chose ToeJam again. I was still suspicious and figured if I came this far, I might as well close it out. And apparently this is where MHaye “caught” me.
Good news everyone! He wasn’t a Wolf! I bet this surprises everyone at this point.
This was awesome. It only took two Days but at least I was able to almost 100% confirm someone as Town. Boy howdy this game will be easy.

Day 4 I chose Lightfoot. I talked about how I was sad ToeJam had left the game and I had finally gotten to the point where I could trust him as Town. Lightfoot made a comment asking something like if I was breadcrumbing or something like that. I was and it was a good pickup, but I didn’t respond.
So here’s what I can confirm. Lightfoot is not Mafia. It was a coinflip on choice, but there were enough wolves that we knew of at that point I figured the odds are more likely that any random Scum would be Mafia.
Same rationale on Day 5. I chose Lakai. I did so because I’ve played in a previous game where there was a scum substitution with a previously active Town player. It’s really difficult to analyse properly because you have to discount everything that player did prior to being subbed back in and they often get Townie credit for no reason.
So Lakai is also not Mafia..
