I’m not at home and don’t have the roles list conveniently on another tab. All I was trying to do was to make a point that Thing Fish’s vote on me was weak and therefore perhaps he had addition information about me he didn’t care to elaborate on. It feels like someone searching for a place for a vote that will be somewhat inconspicuous.

I’m torn now on Prof.Pepperwinkle. He posted things I do not think he really believes. Whether he did this as prevaricating Scum or overwhelmed Town is more of a problem. **Angel ** is playing her “Town” game. Whether she is doing it as Scum is another question entirely.
In either case I don’t think Angel would defend the Professor so adamantly unless she thought he was actually Town. But then she also says she is always fooled by the Professer. Contradictions have never stopped **Angel **before, I suppose.
I think the “I’m sorry about my poor play” post from Professor Pepperwinkle has the same ring of truth that Lakiav1 had with his “I’m nobody important” lament on Day 1.
But what else would a Scum Professor post? It is not clear to me anymore either way on Professor Pepperwinkle.
Somebody in the **Pleonast **/ **Thing Fish ** squabble is probably Scum. I would be OK if the vig took a shot there.
If **ToeJam **is telling the truth (and I think he is), then maybe our Vig is not automatically being shut off by the switch holder. I think **ToeJam **was the logical vig target on Night 2, and if he (**ToeJam **) is really self-protecting Doc Seward, then that would be a reason the vig kill did not happen regardless of switch holder action. So our secondary cases here might matter toNight if they can influence the vig.
I hope we can put the tension from Day3 behind us soon. That atmosphere is no fun to play, and with life issues and world issues so tough right now for so many, I don’t think our games ever need to get like that.

This is because I HAVE A LIFE, as hard as it may be for some to believe. Again, today was a busy day for me. I wasn’t online (or even HOME) for 14 hours today,…and when I finally was, I then SLEPT for 4 or 5 hours.

Yep, and what happened in that game? Well, I’ll tell you…because it happens in most ALL GAMES that I play in: People get annoyed and/or irritated with me, they start voting for me being SO SURE I must be scum, because they say I play so “anti-town”…and then…OOPS…I turn out to be Town.
That’s what happened in your only other game played with me. And that’s gonna happen in THIS game as well. So that will be TWO FOR TWO that that has happened in.
Pray tell, if we are to play a THIRD game together, are you going to keep making the same mistake over and over?
You really should just understand and realize now: I’m a very bad town player, obviously…because people always start accusing me of being anti Town. Maybe after the second time in a row (with YOU and I in the same game) of this happening, you MIGHT ACTUALLY STOP AND THINK FOR A SECOND, in the next one with me: “Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…I’ve seen this before. I’ve seen him act anti town before, and be overly annoying and defensive and posting like nuts…and yet, he was town both times…I MAY ACTUALLY want to hesitate, this time, before lynching him.”

Since I missed virtually two and a half whole days of discussion and happenings, I figure the best way to get reads on people, rather than actually go back and read/catch up on more than 400 posts…is to make it so they all have to INTERACT WITH YOU. How best to do that? Become super annoying and have them all start posting TO you, talking with you, possibly casting votes, possibly holding off…have everyone’s play…for a whole day…centered on you. There’s no better way to get a read on this many players.

Hal Briston, I think, is scum. He came in, after doing the exact same thing I’m doing (being mostly inactive) to throw an easy vote onto me after giving an easy “me too” reason for it. Hypocrite much?
Prof Pepperwinkle, I think, is scum. He’s second in line with votes and obviously scum are going to want to save him, so they’re ganging up on me. Voted for me, but then suddenly, and very RANDOMLY, switched to sachertorte…uh, why, exactly? Bwha? Completely random and nonsensical voting. I think it’s because PP knows he’s next to go (probably tomorrow after you all lynch ME and see I’m Town and realize “DOH! We should have stayed with PP after all!”) so he’s trying to distance himself from the other scum members as much as possible, so he’s voting for a fellow scummie here.
sachertorte, I think, is scum. He held off voting for me…for what good reason? I don’t understand it, because he’s said many times “I think he should be out of the game”, and yet he’s relying on a mod kill that won’t ever be coming. Yeah, that’s it, leave the dirty work to the other, more innocent players. Have THEM vote for me and–when I show up to be Town–start picking on people who were on that pile. But as for right now, he’s voting for Prof P...who is another player I think is scum. Well, if Prof P swings and is scum, indeed, I DO NOT THINK sachertorte should get a free pass just for having voted for him. I think they’re BOTH scum.

I think Nanook is scum. His vote on me is the weakest of all, I feel. It’s basically a “me too” one. It’s the most “me too” vote of all the “me too” votes I’ve ever seen.
I think Hockey Monkey is scum. Mostly for all of the great reasons that Lakai gave. I’ve had a bad taste and feeling reading her posts since I started paying attention yesterday.
I think there may be one more scum… possibly Lightfoot or Angel.
Town STRONG LEANS
I think Johnny Bravo is Town. Say he was scum, well, would he really have been so quick (and the first) to agree to a modkill on me? I don’t think so, because it would look FAR too suspicious of him if I turned out to be Town (which I will)…so I can only guess he agrees with a modkill of me either because A. He really does think I’m suspicious or B. He really does want to remove any “inactive players” that might, possibly cause another mislynch so he can get a freebie at finding scum.
I think paulwhoisaghost is Town. Up until I posted, he was against all the votes people were giving me due to meta gaming…which is the MOST REASONABLE I’ve seen some being in this game. Not being rash? Trying to take all things into account? Looking at things from all sides? Yep, town.
I think jsgoddess is Town. Again, she didn’t like the reasons most everyone had for voting for me (before I started posting). It could have been an easy pile on and nobody would have batted at eye, but she was against it, at first.
I think snfaulkner is Town. Again, a player who seems to be showing pretty reasonal rational (at least in all the posts I’ve seen)

Christ…is it any small wonder why I was frustrated, then, upon coming back and reading all of those reasons for having votes? Yeah, I was a little frustrated. Enough to say “to hell with this game” (at the time) in a post.
But then the frustration seethed and, after **Johnny Bravo’**s post (which, at the time of my reading it through red eyes–looked more like it was saying “Fine, modkill him please. Who needs him? We can then go after actual scum then with a free chance!”), I decided “Fine, okay, I’ll give them what they want and post. …and post…and post…and post…”
…which, of course, gets even MORE VOTES: Mostly just for being annoying and irritating…which, again, has no actual bearing on whether or not they think I’m actual town or scum.
Look, when I’m scum, I’m playfully annoying, I only ever get posting a ton and coming off as “hostile” apparently, when I’m TOWN. Again, raise your hand if you’ve seen me do this in a ton of games already…you want to talk about META REASONING? Fine. There you go. Raise your hand if you’ve ever seen “OUTRAGED IDLE” in a game and he was TOWN, in the end. Let me guess…MORE THAN A FEW TIMES, right?
Gaysus Keerist… the quotes above are enough to make ANY player frustrated. Votes that have no backbone, no solid evidence, and are so weak, they might as well be made out of toothpicks or playing cards. So yeah, I showed that frustration yesterday, a bit. Even now I still am. Because it’s a frustrating thing.
Now…I will make one last try to everyone: I want to play now. I’m sorry for saying I was going to stay in the game to piss people off. I changed my mind. I will be active. How many votes would I lose if everyone who is only voting for me for meta reasons OR because they were irritated at me? I’m guessing enough to make me not be the vote leader any more.
So if you care about WINNING this game…UNVOTE me…because you’re about to make YET ANOTHER mistake and kill a TOWNSPERSON. And at this point, town can’t really afford to lose any more townspeople.
This might be less true in a game with 2 Scum-teams because Scum can actually hunt Scum in this game without hurting their own team.

For what ever it’s worth I’m not a fan of lists either. They can be used to snuggle/smudge very easily. Also I made a list in my first game on Idlemafia and NAF told me what he thought of lists. I tend to try and learn as much from NAF as possible and so I have never and likely never will made a list since.
