I feel that is unfair. no matter your alliance this game-- If you do that you miss some very valid points. they may not be crystal clear to you- but they often exist
Think about it who better to deliver a bread crumb? ( not that I have seen any this game but…) you never know
NETA: Meeko plays his own game which is usually not very closely related to Mafia.
I will put my trust in you to wallow and dive deep into the bread crumboliciousness that Meeko imparts. I hereby appoint you as my official Meeko translator. I await your results.
I’d love to have a conversation on this… But it truly is not the place for it… And apparently, you won’t be the person to have it with either.
Straight up. I had one game in recent memory, where I actually did put forth a breadcrumb. I don’t think I even ever mentioned it until now.
That you got the Idiocracy reference, one, is amazing. Two, that we are having this conversation about finding everyone around us stupid, in the context of Idiocracy…
.
And yes, my brain does do this thing, where it will form thoughts … And I’ll type them in, … Long before I realize all the angles. Case in point, while I was aware I was quoting (and also not referencing Idiocracy by name… Believe it or not, the whole entire parallel of suggesting I consider my self to be living in Idiocracy when I play Mafia, wasn’t a direct or even passive jab. … Yeah, after I posted it, I could have :smack::smack::smack: myself for doing that, but frankly, most times, when my brain does that, … That’s when I get the moonshot ideas or best plays. I don’t seek to edit them as perhaps I should. I don’t think editing serves a purpose… It loses something. The risk is worth it.
I think this game was on Giraffe. I said something absurdly cryptic (yes, even for me) for like four lines, or one paragraph of text. I started the relevant text with the word “Seek” ((I don’t remember that much about this, but I think Seek is kinda … Not used that often, so hopefully we can find it through that.)) …and I used " -k " at the end. The implication of the crumb was Seek minus k … Or “See”.
What’s baking my noodle, is that, this is the only actual legit, oh my god, I need to in earnest send a message via breadcrumb to my team, breadcrumb I can remember doing, with any detail. The ironic thing of it, is that “See” points me to thinking that in the “See” message, I was actually referring to other breadcrumbs.
I think it’s silly… if Jane was acting scummy, she would have already been in hot water the previous Day. Or did a case against them suddenly get built based entirely on what she said in the Night thread? I’m guessing that going into Night the wolves already have an idea of who they want to target.

I’m interested in what illogical arguments you are talking about. I’m also interested to hear why you point out how illogical they were at the time… or offer any real support that Brewha wasn’t scum.

Because the wolves kill at Night and the Mafia kill during the Day. Why do you not know that?

Meeko… normally I’m against this, but shut up or go whine somewhere else.

No really though… there are plenty of other vanilla townies in the game. I only see one crying foul and making a scene about how disenfranchised they are. Either play or don’t. At least if you don’t then we don’t have to waste a Lynch on you. And we both know that is exactly where this headed… another Meeko mislynch.

Bolding added. Each Night? Or did you mean starting just toNight, since you said you were not around last Night. And you’re claiming VT, or a role without a power? Or trying to cover up a power in case you’re watched? And given your experience in Mafia, why the hell do you think inventing an imaginary role would somehow be accepted by the moderators and included in the game? Can I vote you now?
I read that quote and didn’t have a clue on how to parse it. How do you target yourself if you have no power to target anyone? How does that confuse scum watchers? Are ToeJam and Meeko playing a different game than we are? Color me confused.
Meeko, you have access to the same role list descriptions, mod provided or claimed, as everyone else. Go role play a few of the roles if you are vanilla town, and maybe you’ll find some empathy sync with the people playing those roles.
That’s my friendly tactic for the strategy of making the game more enjoyable for you.
Farewell Chronos & Brewha, welcome Cygnus & Svejk, thanks!
@ToeJam, #1063, I never used the second lynch as a reason to vote. Someone had commented that Crys would have reached the threshold for a second lynch had it not been for the votes on you but the vote record doesn’t look like there was ever enough momentum
@Total, #1066, do you mean a WoW? I think it a review of a player’s posts would be useful but it would need to be objective - a neutral paraphrase, with comments added separately, just sharing your thoughts without support evidence isn’t really a massive help… if enough players do it, it might be a time saver
@Thing Fish, #1099, there’s no smoking gun but there’s still meat in the vote records - I’d like to hear reasoning from nesta and inner stickler!
@raventhief, #1103, didn’t you yourself jump off the brewha train at the last minute?
@Drain Bead, #1113, why do you suspect Total’s participation dropped off so much? Do you think she was pushing for the claim and once she achieved her goal, had little more to do?
I have really mixed feelings about Prof.P. and his #1116 says it all “hey, here’s a list of people who are doing exactly what I’m doing, we should be suspicious of them!”. It’s consistent but is starting to feel like a party trick, a policy vote, to allow him to keep up a pretense of scum hunting
@Captain Klutz, in #896 you liked Johnny Bravo’s plan to leash the cultists, but then in #1119 you disagree with “compelling them to vote the same way”, what did you understand by “leash” and “block”?
@ToeJam, #1123, why exactly do you think scum want you dead? #1132, the convoluted plan to have people target him was not brewha’s, but Chronos’ - mason, is that really part of why you voted brewha?
@Prof.P., #1161 should we wait for you to do the analysis of post patterns? Here I’ve compared D1 and D2 for you based on the numbers you quoted, what are your reads?[spoiler]Not here on D1:

It is Prof’s go to post count filler and sometimes a reason to vote. ( intended or no) but content is not addressed ( generally).100 posts with three good ideas is NOT worth more than 7 posts with no fluffy bunnies hopping around . Do you agree?
I agree. If he doesn’t pick it up with scum hunting, or at least chiming in on issues, i’ll have no problem with putting the pressure on him.
I typed something and when I read it for syntax I learned something about my mafia game self.
aha moment if you will
I had a list of players I felt were Town
those that I was unsure of ( go back an forth on)
and those that I felt were Scummy
On review I noticed they were players that had ideas/views I agreed with.
BUT that does not make them Town.
I am thinking that if a person seems to share our views we look at them more favourably- now that I see the flaw maybe I might gain ground
Not sure how to use this in game, but I have it now.FWIW
