I’d like to think I’m pulling my weight with both.
**Forgive me if this was already stated, but I can’t remember. Hey, maybe I’m skimming my own game. Lynch me!
There are no Night Zero powers/actions. Nothing. It’s just talk and mods making sure we are ready to go. Folks, it’s 55+ people. It takes longer than normal to make sure we have everything in place. Patience, please.
Essentially, this is a Day One starting game. **
Thanks muchly!
This is why you are my favorite Game room mod. Or at least top 5.
Hey, wait a second…
-Meeko, who is totally going on a hunch of Game Room mod numbers.
Am I the only noob? Just asking. I take obscure comfort in those who claim (ha!) to remember nothing of the rules.
I think a good number of us average like 6-8 years Mafia game play experience, at least.
Also, because I think this fits into your question, but you would not know to ask, … Not just the number of games played, but specific games weigh unequally on the collective consciousness of our group. The number of inside jokes, and similar shared experiences will override sheer number of years. It’s common practice to shorthand experiences by the name of the game that, that experience … Infected. Monkgate changed our games, LOST Mafia changed our games… And most of us have sufficient context on these type of things simply from me mentioning the title. I’d wager that Cookies despite what (she?) is saying, can remember Monkgate and or Lost.
And I don’t actually know what Monkgate was. I think I asked before, and somebody told me which game it was, but there’s no way I’m going to read through an entire game thread to figure it out. The forbidden threads don’t help, either, because posters in those tend to say things like “Whoa, did that really just happen!?”, and you have no idea what they’re talking about, or even where in the thread it is.
A few random thoughts as we wait for this long Night to end…
Just for this, I’m not going to vote to lynch you until at least Day 3.
Unless, of course, you post something super-extra Scummy…
We know that statements in **Green **are Gospel, and statements in **Black **may contain statements of varying truthiness…what are we supposed to make of statements in Dark Red?
and if the answer is somewhere in the previous 350+ posts…sue me
You can take comfort in the fact that nobody has any preconceived notions about you, so you can’t possibly be lynched/killed because of them. And as a fresh-faced innocent, you might even get a grace period of Day or two before the various factions decide to kill you off, so as not to appear to be ‘unfriendly’ to new players…
Personally, I promise not to try to get you killed until at least Day 3.
unless it’s between you and Idle (see above)…
Well I think this takes the trophy for MVP…the single huge thread has been the main reason I’ve preferred playing on other boards…too painful to play on a phone with such long threads.
I hope we’ll then start Day 1 in a new thread?
Do you really want to know? If Meeko is talking about what I think he’s talking about, I was there.
Short version is Monkgate showed us that scum claiming Mason is a bad idea. It’s really not that big a deal. I think people just like typing Monkgate.
Maybe it’s scrawled in dried blood left over from the vampire that Sach is postulating?
Blood? Or whiskey?
BTW, for those keeping track, I got my PM yesterday.
Define “bad”. Like crossing the streams bad?
So, basically, I’m the equivalent of that idiot girl who runs downs the dark hallway in high heels in the movie, despite everyone screaming at her not to? Got it.
Also, is “fluffing” supposed to be a double entendre, or am I just, er, well read?
The adult in me pretends it isn’t. But I hate that adult guy.
Yeah. I was in that game as well (town). It was Super Smash Brothers (the first). The only game I’ve seen town mislynch twice and end up losing the game. Basically there was a scum mason in a group of three. This was revealed by one of the masons Day 1. Town lynched one mason. Vig took another. The scum mason was the only one not killed that first Daycycle (Hail compouter! [Note: For those that didn’t catch that, that was a reference to the paranoia RPG and has nothing to do with this game.]) Ed knowing he was sunk on Day 2 did nothing but spam the the Day 2 thread. I find it a bit amusing that Zeriel doesn’t remember, because my memory thinks it was Zeriel as the mason who claimed that there was a scum amongst them. (And was vigged that night.)
Thunderous applause.
Oh, and I have my PM. Also, for those who’ve played with me before read nothing into the fact that I won’t be as prolific a poster in this game as I used to be (as in I typically was in the top 5 posters of every game). Things are a bit busier in life and this game is huge in numbers.
Not so much a grudge. But when someone wins as serial killer, you do need to keep an eye on them.
I usually intend in a most delightfully double way. And this is my fifth game, ever, and first one here on the Dope, so I am only a few steps behind you running down the dark alleyway.
