Mafia Reunion - NIGHT ZERO

Well, you know what they say about guys with big notes…

They have trouble writing in small print?

I tend to agree… so what’s the best thing to do when there’s nothing to talk about?

Why start drinking, of course!

With the death of the Mayor, I see very little reason to wait around for the approval of my liquor license, so I hereby announce the re-re-re-opening of BoozySquid’s Corner Bar!

Tonight only, our special will be:

The Trifecta!

In honor of three factions, triple lynching, and Autolycus, Peekercpa and Santo Rugger, for tonight only, any three types of liquor you want, shaken over crushed wolf’s bane and served in a block of ice delicately chiseled in the shape of Snake Plisken’s head. Warning: the eye patch is much thinner than the rest of the container, and may leak slightly.

Me either

Hey bartender! I’ll have a Lonesome George, please.

pours one out in honor of our departed friends…

OK, time to get this thing rolling.

As promised, the Town and Scum roles are completely open. Rather than post them all here, which would take an eternity and just clog up the game thread, I will instead link to a google document listing the roles. Please note that there is exactly one of each role, except for the Masons (n=4) and the vanilla Townsperson (n=?).

All of the PMs shown below are complete and unredacted, except that the names of individual players have been removed (obviously).

Third party PMs - if any exist - are not included in this document.

ALSO!

In addition to the PMs shown at the location above, some players will receive an additional PM. In this game, certain powers will run off of switches, which are simple toggles. Each power is associated with two switches, each given to a different player. Activation or deactivation of these switches is an independent ability that can be performed at any Dawn or Dusk as a separate action that does not prevent the player from using any personal abilities.

Additional information on switches may, or may not, be provided at a later date

storyteller0910, the document seems to be protected - any chance we can get access?

**I need permission to get to the google doc. **

BAH! Mahaloth will have to grant access; I have no power here. Mahaloth, a little help please?

Role Pms

Google docs is quirky.

I was on mobile. Do you have any idea how long it took to delete out the text I didn’t want while still somewhat keeping the formatting correct? A billion years. That’s how long. So ten minutes after posting, when I saw that someone else had commented and there was a response on the exact same thing, I said “fuck it, my post stays.”

So yeah. I’ll be sure to read next time…

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Whew.

HA!

I post from my phone 90% of the time. I know how you feel.

Also, when you are trying to push out a bunch of PMs and answer a bunch of questions but you only have limited time to do it all it…it’s super frustrating that you have to wait 60 seconds between PMs.

#modworldproblems

Here is some mood music for the party, because I have to do something while I wait.

Oh hey a PM. Ooh and I just found the game thread, just catching up now, oh the mods have posted a link to all the roles…14 PAGES OF GOOGLE DOC.

This game is going to be…intensive.

If I’m reading that correctly, Town has something like 17 Power Roles. But there are at least two Scum who can switch them off. Not to mention third parties. This will be fun!

So we don’t know how many vanilla town there are, and thus can’t deduce the number of third party roles.

A few questions:

Can the watcher see the scum factional kills being performed? It looks like no, they’re not tied to any given player, but I’d like to be sure.

Does the hitman/outrider kill a target who is not protected, or are they anti-doctor only?

Does the informant/bloodhound get full role information, or just X visited Y?

  1. No. Faction kills are not performed by a single player.

  2. No - if the hitman or outrider targets a player who is not protected, nothing at all happens. Bonus fun fact: the hitman or outrider will kill a self-protecting doctor.

  3. Just X visited Y

I know you don’t care that we’ve received our PMs, but I’ve received my PM. So yeah.

** Good questions.

The scum are so good at killing not even the watcher can spot them making their normal kill. Almost supernatural really.

Hitman/out rider is only anti protector. The person they target is a ok.

The informant does not get role info.
