I’m debating whether I want to be spoiled or not. On the one hand, if I stay unspoiled, then I can’t fairly and honestly voice suspicions of any player other than those I’ve already done so for, because there are people who I specifically don’t suspect no matter what they say (in other words, anyone I voice suspicion of is logically not a Mason).

On the other hand, I’ve been working on an upgraded version of my vote-analysis program, and planned to deploy it once we had a few Days worth of data. I could still use that, leave out my knowledge of who the other Masons are, and post results without commentary, because I’m genuinely curious how well it’ll do.

On the gripping hand, to do that properly, I need to track not only votes, but FOSes, which means I’d still be shackled into reading the entire thread.

For what it’s worth, I stopped using the previous version of that program because I found that even though it usually worked, highly-skilled Scum players could still defeat it. I was going to use it anyway this game because, first, with so many Scum, there were bound to be a few who weren’t skilled enough, and second, because I’m convinced that there’s no way that a puny human can actually track a game that’s this large.

Let me know if you want full spoilage.

Y’know what? Even if I see full spoilers, I can still post results from my program. It’s easy enough to just not input any spoiled information.

So, sure, spoil me. If nothing else, I’m really curious why the Mafia considered me a greater threat than any of the other players (my current best hunch is that Thing Fish really is the Mook).

Last thought before I take a look at those spoilers: ToeJam thinks that the Scum desperately want him dead because he’s participating!? Since coming back from his nearly-deadly absence, all he’s said is “whoops, catching up” and “why is everybody voting for poor little me?”. That’s either some seriously ballsy and incomprehensible ploy, or he’s seriously deluded.

It seems like the Scum are picking off active Town. I played more aggressively than I normally do. Was surprised I didn’t get more suspicion, especially after I helped lynch two Townies. I’m hoping some of my other reads were correct, especially the BillMC one.
