By the way, I had a discussion with pedescribe early in the game about slipping certain phrases specific to my role PM into a post so that the pre-reset Bus Driver could confirm me. pedescribe indicated that would incur a modkill. Power roles, be very cautious about what you reveal out of your PM.
Like I said, I can’t really see anything that speaks against your idea. However, I’m feeling a bit under the weather right now (tons of medication, etc.) and not really up to the task of critiquing the whole thing. I was thinking maybe someone else would come up with a meaningful reason to not do this.

I am refering to the several people who have already claimed (which you are one, but honestly my post was not about you), and who have said they will claim iminently, it does have the effect of applying a whole heap of pressure, particularly in light of your post 651 that could reasonably be parsed as throwing suspicion on people who are not on board.
I am talking about it (mass role claim), that what my post focused on (with the exception of a minor diversion about a small town).

Where did you pull the tsk tsk ing from? I think that is a tone you are reading into my post from your head. My post was pretty explictly about my own feelings which were, woah this came up quick, followed by my usual paranoid who is making us do this and why reaction.
Anyay the ,not fully though, comment was probably not the best phrasing and was not intened as a slight on your post which was indeed a good case , and as I mentiond, I cant see a scum reason for a mass claim, so it might be a good idea, well at least not a scum idea.
My major concern is the effect of the jester and the vig in the pool of unknowns. If I read your post right, for the scum claiming scientist you say there is a pool of 9 players with 4 scum. We would then have a pool of 10 players with 4 scum with the vig. This worsens the odds for the role blocker hitting scum and for a mislynch.
The recruitment would count as a miss lynch would it not, which further worsens things and the recruit could end up in the pool of knowns which means our pool to lynch from is back to the full group, with the downside that all our power roles are exposed.

So I think I’m subbing in for Koldanar who subbed for drainbead. I was waiting for an official notation here in the thread from pedescribe but I haven’t seen anything yet. Haven’t really read Day One yet, but I’ve read the mass claim part of toDay so far.
storyteller, I’m the one you were thinking about. In Conspiracy 2 I said I was against mass claiming because it sucks the fun out of the game for me. I’m still against it, but if there’s a majority for it I’m not going to stand in your way. Just, my personal opinion for the fun of the game, is no mass claim.
For the record, I’m the super-secret Terminator model: the T-Bone. If I get together with the A1 model at Night we become Delicious.

Pre-set, I was scum. Currently, I’m a very townie, very confirmable role. One that I’m not really sure of how to utilize. I’ll wait until Rysto’s plan has me in claim order to claim, but I as far as I understand it, post-claim, I won’t be very useful.
