All I meant here was, in the normal course of the game, it takes a Day to for us to get any information from a lynch. And since the Coroner is not confirmed, we can’t rely on him to speed up that process yet.
You make many persuasive arguments against No Lynch, and I appreciate you taking the time to devote good brain time to it.
Remember, he thought that the Vig, Magician, and Scottsman were all free-masons. Thus saying “Why would a free-mason claim his specific role instead of just claimining freemasson?” only further implies that he actually thought that the Vig WAS a free-mason, and had claimed his specific role (ie, Vig) when he should have claimed free-mason. IOW, if his undestanding was correct, then he should have only claimed enough to verify his role without giving information about his specific powers to the scum. Now, obviously, this understanding was incorrect, but we must take that into account when analyzing what he said.
Again, in the context that he believed the magician, vig, and scottsman are all free-masons, this part makes sense… it actually doesn’t make ANY sense outside of that context, because he’d have no reason to believe any vanilla-mason would have any way to avoid death.
IOW, this entire post is just as easily attributed to his claimed misunderstanding which, seems VERY likely to me to be an honest misunderstanding. Now, of course, this does mean he’s definitely not any of those three roles, but which, in itself, does somewhat lower his chance of being town. However, I cannot see how this alone makes him more or less likely to be any of the other roles.
Honestly, I don’t think it’s necessary, each time we get information from sache, to preface our response to it with a long-winded explanation of how we’re going to trust his information now, until we have reason to distrust it. I already went through those arguments at the time of sache’s roleclaim and I don’t intend on doing it each Morning.
So, I’m going to assume that sache is telling the truth until he gives us false information. If he does, I’m happy with that as well, because then he’s a scum outed. If sache comes back to tell us tomorrow morning that we hit scum, I’m going to celebrate, again, without the caveat which I assume should be implicit.
But speaking of sache, he did promise us an 11th hour Role (not alignmen) reveal, as well as giving some directions to Idle as to whom he should death-talk. I’m really hoping to see that in the next… what do we have, ten minutes?
Zoggie, WTF are you doing? Do you care to comment on the lynch vs. no-lynch idea? Do you care to explain why you want to vote for Diggit? Because it looks like you want a no-lynch with that sort of vote.
I’m leaning the other way. Diggit’s explanations make sense to me. (Blaster has already commented on this and I feel the same way, so I won’t waste more time).
