Since we’re in fluff-talk zone, all I can say at the moment is that my Zinogre fight on Monster Hunter 3U was a blast.
Also that after reading my earlier [OOC] post, my kids gave me the roll-eyes and reminded me that Zinogres spew Dragonballs and Lightningballs, not Fireballs.

Yeah, Story’s texts are one of the big reasons I decided to join the SDMB a couple of years ago, and I’ve wanted to play one of his Mafia games ever since.

Has there ever been a scum clean sweep (no dead scum) in any of the SDMB/Giraffe/Idlemafia games?
There have been two on the SDMB. None on Idlemafia. And I don’t know about Giraffe.
The first on the SDMB involved peekercpa, bufftabby, me, and a fourth member whose board handle I can’t remember right now. We were all first time scum and had something like 10 games total experience between the four of us (the other guy was a newbie, IIRC). Town was newbie heavy as well, with only two long-time players.
The second time on SDMB was the Straight Dope Message Board mafia where almost all the characters were puns on actual board handles and the powers were inspired by their actual board handle counterparts actions on the board. (e.g. Koldanar was someone who had one of the lowest post count to months active ratio on the boards. There was a character based on him who I believe had a hider power.)
Yes, I remember that game very well! It was my first game and I was vanilla town. :smack: is there any comprehensive list of SDMB Mafia games?
