DAWN, DAY SEVEN
*The tiny procession winds grimly through the streets of Cecilton, bearing the body in a plain pine box. All around are the sights and sounds of a town in its death throes: unlatched doors swinging in the wind, undrawn shutters, fireplaces cold and empty. A light rain falls picturesquely. The trickle of visitors to this town, already modest, has dried up completely; the remaining locals blame the humidity, and the werewolf murders.
The procession has arrived at the tiny cemetery, which now boasts more residents than Cecilton proper. With a few words of comfort they lay to rest the last of an ancient society, improbably reduced to three random guys in an out-of-the-way semi-medieval town.
The war is nearly over now; no more than two new dawns remain.*

Biotop was highly suspicious of Johnny Bravo - so that seems like the logical place to start the Day’s conversation. But, there’s more than one wolf left…who else do people find to be suspicious?
Going strictly by the maxim “Lynch the Lurker” (which worked on 2 of the 3 wolves lynched), I’d say we go for Johnny Bravo and Nonsuch, which matches Biotop’s surmises.
Cygnus42 is also a lurker, but he’s also the only one here who voted for lynching all three of the wolves, so, he’s as Town as anyone can be at this point.

For the reasons laid out by Thing Fish earlier regarding the suspicions he has voiced, for voting record reasons, and because his defense yesterDay was misleading in exactly the way that a wolf would need to be misleading; i.e. recharacterizing a past action that wasn’t very pro-Town to make it sound like it was pro-Town.
Worth noting that Thing Fish’s summary of players accused by JB included septimus (a case I didn’t understand back then, and now, I think, now why I didn’t understand it), TexCat, Dante G, and Thing Fish. Yesterday he smudged Bio and said he was suspicious of me, precambrian and Cygnus.
That is, in order, town, town, town, town, town, undetermined to you all but definitely town, undetermined and undetermined-but-I-feel-like-we-know-town.
Against that we have to weigh the fact that he voted for Diggit, who voted for him. Easy one, I think, and the next one’s the tough one.

I’ll wait a day or so to let anybody else pile in who wants to, then I’ll mount a defense and a final list of suspects if it doesn’t look like there are any other candidates.
What will you do if it looks like there are?
Then I’ll weigh in as normal. I don’t want to poison the well or anything; I’d just rather address all accusations at once rather than piecemeal if I’m the primary suspect for the day.

There was quite a bit of conversation before end of Day about the likeliness of both candidates being wolves.
I still believe there is a good chance of this being true.
Before I vote, I want to double check the voting on all the confirmed wolves so far. Due diligence and all that. This late in the game, it would stand to reason that there shouldn’t be much left to hide, voting pattern-wise.
I’ll be back at my usual late-night time. Taking the kids to the fair - hopefully I shall return with my innards intact. That “Wild Mouse” ride can spin me right 'round, sometimes.

I’m still poking around, and will post anything else of interest I find. Let’s see where everyone falls this time.
Interesting dynamic: 5:2, but a mistake here and Town is 3:2.
If we’re correct, it’s one to go, 4:1, unless I’m seriously screwing up the numbers, which I may very well be.
In the climactic scene in one of the Indiana Jones movies (the Holy Grail one) there was a line where one of the bad guys had to choose which cup belonged to Christ so he could drink the fountain of youth water from it. He was instructed to choose wisely.
After he did not, and disintegrated into dust, the ancient knight guarding the chalices said:
“He chose…poorly.”
Indy, of course, did better.
