Good memory, though.

For a while there, I had a glimmer of hope that I’d make it through the Day…

Oh well, c’est la mort.
story, can I have spoilers, please?
Thanks. ![]()
It’s one of my stock of “You can’t rule out unlikely stuff, because less likely things have been known to happen” tales, along with things like Night 1 of Pedescribe’s Terminator II game.
Well done guys. I’m glad you guys could see something that I obviously couldn’t.
But there’s still two pieces outstanding from Day 5 I’d like to look at. One, we know that Suburban couldn’t protect himself the Prioress power (though I agree with MHaye that it’s extremely likely the Prioress is Scum as well). So what protected him? Hawk’s one option. Anything else?
Second, where did Scum kill go? We know for certain it wasn’t a double protection of Suburban. Was it a second block? No one’s stepping up to take credit here.
Finally, this is now the first official confirmation in the game of “the Brotherhood of the Rose.”
Just reminding everyone that as the Seraph I’m likely to die tonight. If anyone has a trick up their sleeve to save me, I’d appreciate it. I can’t find anything in the rules that would save me, but I guess you never know.
Before I die, I’d like to hopefully influence the vote tomorrow. Suburban Plankton was the only vigorous defender of RyJae when I accused him. There’s no reason for him to do that if RyJae were town.
Yes.
You’re assuming Hal really did attack him last Night. We cannot be sure of that - there is no evidence supporting Hal’s claim at all.
:dubious:
There’s a very good reason why a scum player might mount a vigorous defense of a town player.
Can we at least agree to starting this discussion with the presumption that RyJae is certainly not confirmed or “likely” town? Several players have made lists of their confirmed and/or likely town leans, which include RyJae’s name. I’d like to at least dispel the idea that RyJae belongs on such a list.
At the very least, he revealed physician (with power depleted) when only scum could have benefited from the knowledge. There was no conceivable benefit for town to have that knowledge. I propose that he made the reveal in order to appeal to the sense of trust people have for players who offer info. This somehow earned him a spot on several players’ “trusted” list. I’d like to begin the discussion about him without the presumption of innocence he has enjoyed so far.
I don't think Alka/myself are on an innocent list, that I have seen. I know I don't like innocent lists, except mod confirmed in any shape anyway. Only one person can escape the magnifying glass, Visor.
Since you started your line of reasoning, which I will mention again since you skip this part. **You based it on wrong assumptions, proven wrong assumptions, the sub in (me for Alka was not the delay), no one should have known you where poisoned, and yet you have never acknowledged your blatant mistakes. **
You’re like puppy with a slipper, let it go, and go find a nice juicy bone. I even left some meat on that gnarly bone.

Spotted a mistake in the dead list, Hal. Suburban Plankton should read: -
8. Suburban Plankton - Reeve - didn’t die N4 (despite claimed but unverified attack)
SP wasn’t the Prioress, and could not have protected himself, even with the Memento.
Hal, your list is off a bit. At a glace I see three things:
Suburban Plankton wasn’t the Prioress. Suburban was the Reeve. He lied about his claim and about his action.
Visor didn’t watch me. At least, I really don’t remember that claim and if Visor is the Pardoner, there’s no way he could watch me.
The claims by the investigators was NOT that the investigatees were Town. It’s that they weren’t scum. There’s a difference as you should well know, given your claim.
That’s three big ones just skimming through that list. So you really really should double check the whole thing.
ETA: AAAAh, Never mind about #2. I thought it said Watched **BY **Visor, which confused me.
Gaaa…thanks guys. I did that in a bit of a rush so I could get a “players” page added to my signature. Didn’t think about difference since the last one. Update is on its way.
Ok, here’s an updated version with the above changes. I don’t have time to double-check every claim at the moment (huge work project due by noon), but if anyone points anything out, I’ll be happy to make the change. Otherwise I’ll recheck each of the claims this afternoon.

Have you found how to shorten your sig?
[noparse][post=15189849]Post 1[/post][/noparse] => [post=15189849]Post 1[/post].
It’s a lot shorter than the URL tag.
Ahh, I see. Ah well – I just made it into a web page.
You taught me something new, at least!
So here are the people left unclaimed:
Here are the roles left unclaimed:
We know the Reeve was a scum role. I strongly believe, given the false claim, that the Prioress is a scum role. That leaves two. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I also believe that the Squire is a scum role.
I’m not certain, of course, but here’s my rationale. This is the squire’s ability:
Ability #2 looks interesting and, were I the squire I’d be tempted to use it for that given the right ability pick-up. But there’s something huge that can be done with role 1.
Snickers, the Knight, used his power. He was guarding someone and then he died. Now, maybe Scum targeted Snickers. Maybe scum targetted Snickers’ protection. It’s 50/50. But we as a group have never really discussed those possibilities, mainly because it was impossible to know. Not so for the Squire.
How I’m reading it is that the squire’s ability can show us who acted upon Snickers and that would be a huge information gain!
But the squire hasn’t shown his face yet. There’s still time tonight but my thinking (and obviously I’m not 100% certain on this) is that the reason the squire hasn’t claimed is that there’s no longer a role of squire for Town to claim.
Enderw24, I disagree. If my read of thy description is correct, we’d learn who Snickers guarded, not who did the killing. There’s nothing in Snickers’ role that would yield that information.
“Thy” is an auto-corrected “that.” But in this setting, that typo kinda works!
