X-post, just realised that Seraph can’t be protected against, nevermind.
But vote stays, because Stanislaus and myself are pretty much confirmed, 100% in my case, and you haven’t thought to protect either of us?
Still suspiscious.

Though I must admit Enders post seems quick to jump as well. Bus, easy wagon, who knows. Opinions?
And kill RyJae Hal, because if two scum have defended him, it is looking likely that he is scum.
Wait, so you find it suspicious that I came to the same conclusion as you at the same time as you? That seems odd.
As pointed out above, I see that my assessment was incorrect. Monk protecting Seraph won’t work.
Finally, to the scary ghost of fubbleskag: Oops. Either I didn’t see Story’s request or I just forgot about it. It’s been 6 weeks since he posted that and a month since I sent my one and only PM to a player in the game. I guess I looked at this:
as permission to do what I did.
Have you ever played this game, or anything similar? I only ask because that right there makes it seem like you have not. Scum do not tend to defend one another, it almost makes it like a clique that town can quickly and easily win using as soon as one scum is offed. Seriously, just because you’re confirmed town, does not make you more knowledgeable than the rest of us. The only thing we have going for us with you being confirmed is we know you have no ulterior motives.
As for the Stan being pretty much confirmed, please do not spread that. It is completely false. Unless I am mistaken, this is based on supermans er Hals word that the cloak isn’t in play. I admit that bigger fish are left to fry though, I just don’t think saying that helps town in any way.
I don't like Babale not using their power yet, that is odd, considering the suspicions they where gathering in the past. As a town they probably should have used it quickly to avoid the loss of a power if they where town and got mislynched. I am trying to think through the brain of Babale and after I read some more I will make my vote for whomever I find to be the scummiest other than my gnarly friend. Who I am already quite certain is a scum.
i’m back for now.
the bad: power’s been out for over 24 hours now.
the good: our building has emergency power.
the ugly: it’s not enough to run the elevators and i live on the 14th floor.
i think Babale is town. it would have been easier to say he used his power rather than admit he didn’t if he wanted to escape scrutiny. not using his power can be chalked up to his being new.
RyJae, putting Stanislaus into the highly-probably Town category is dependent on two things; fubbleskag’s Night 1 investigation that returned a Town result, and my verification that the Cloak is not in play. It has nothing to do with Hal at all.
Now you can question whether I am telling the truth - after all for all you know I might be a Brotherhood member trying to pull the wool over your eyes - but fubbleskag flipped Town on death so we can be certain that he was faithfully reporting his results. Gnarlycharlie corroborates fubbleskag, but he’s not dead so we can’t take that as adding to the argument.
What it boils down to is that Stan is non-Brotherhood, unless I’m lying or my result was somehow corrupted by a hidden element of the game.
I only have time for a short post at the moment. I will explain more later. I am the Cook. I attempted to block Snickers on Night 1.

I was in hurry when I typed this and made a mistake. It wasn’t a typo, since I was thinking Night 1 at the time, but I just had a brain cramp. The night I attempted to block Snickers was Night 2.
I’ve colored in Hal Briston as purple third party because it helps fill in the chart.

I had considered blocking Snickers on Night 1, but I think I just had trouble psychologically overcoming my normally cautious playstyle. I just felt like I might be wasting my power. But after thinking about it some more, I decided it was likely to be wasted anyway.
I was obviously suspicious of Snickers and finally decided I might not get a better chance to catch a scum with my power. While I was obviously wrong in my judgement of Snickers, I don’t think I have seen any time since then that I would have rather used it (although since I no longer had the power, I haven’t thought about it a lot, and I am not sure what I would have done if I still had it when Hal claimed).
Just noticed something interesting on Day 2, thanks to Astral Rejection’s post.
OK, so Snickers and TexCat were both at 3 votes each. Then Inner Stickler, scum, garners 4 votes in a very short period of time to come out of nowhere to take the lead.
Then Inner and Suburban, both scum, cast votes on TexCat (town) to push Tex back to the lead.
Was that enough? Or would Scum do more to ensure Inner didn’t end up getting lynched that day?
Here are the people that voted for TexCat after Inner and Suburban: Me, Alka (RyJae), and Babale.
Part of me thinks maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree with this line, but that’s only because I’ve included myself on this list and I know I’m not scum, so how sure can I be about the other two?
But still…would scum trust that 5 votes was enough to get TexCat to swing and save Inner? Or would they put one more scum there voting for TexCat just for good measure?
Some of these cases on Babale are terrible. I strongly believe in defending against bad cases, even if I think the person in question could possibly be scum. I’ve been trending scum on Babale all game, but Enderw24, another of my scum leans, has particularly egregious reasons for voting for Babale. I don’t believe they could both be scum, so Enderw24 gets my vote. Here’s what I take issue with:
The odds go up of correctly using his power every Night. I’m not big on math, but a 1-in-19 shot is worse than, say, a 1-in-8 shot. Babale has yet to be in substantial danger of a lynch, so I don’t see “holding onto his power” as a bad thing. Further, as I posted before, The Seraph could not be protected.
Same issue. Mosier could not be protected, and I don’t believe Babale has acted scummily by not using his power.
Likewise a bad reason for voting. Even though one of the main tenets of your vote is false, your vote stays. Mosier was assuredly the kill yesterNight, so why would Babale waste a protect on someone who wouldn’t be attacked?
So your assessment was incorrect… but you aren’t going to unvote?
This I can now agree with.
Vote Enderw24
Also, I’m surprised nobody picked up on this yet…
I claimed the merchant a while ago. That means Stanislaus is the Prioress.
Huh…sorry about that, Astral – don’t know how that one got past me.

So, Stanislaus, that leaves you as the only non-claimant, so the Prioress is either you or the person claiming your role. What’cha got?
Sorry for short post, on phone. First of all, Ender admits his argument about me sucks, but doesn’t lift his vote? SCUM! For the first time, I will place two votes I intend to keep. I believe Ender is Scum and Hal is dangerous, so I will Vote: Ended.
Now, to explain myself. Here’s why I’m holding on to my power:
Hal, could you change that list to show that I tried to block Snickers on Night 2. The way it is now, it looks as if I blocked someone and then didn’t say anything when there was no kill.
As I mentioned yesterDay, I had not really looked real close at Ender. So I spent some time after Day end giving Ender a look.
This post bothers me mainly because of reason 3. I realize that at the time we were unaware of Visor’s personal circumstances and his Day 1 strategy, but reason 3 here just seems like he is stretching to make sure that players see he has a valid reason for his vote.
I don’t think anyone was saying anything about not telling anyone their investigation results. He seems to be misrepresenting what some players were saying about delaying the reveal of their results. He was called on it pretty quickly, but it looks as if he is misrepresenting to possibly make a case against someone later.
I don’t think we really ever got an explanation for this.
Many players thought the no-lynch was a bad strategy, but TexCat never really agreed with that. So I don’t think she would have said it had already been established. I don’t mind the other part of your case so much, but we will look closer at how the lynch of TexCat went down a little later.
If you are actually Town and did this, I don’t really mind your choice, but you would be pretty safe false claiming this.
I never advocated “go ahead and lynch whoever you want to”. I did propose a strategy, but I still thought players should vote for whomever they felt was scum and give reasons why they thought so.
When I found the above posts, they increased my suspicion of Ender, but I am not sure they put him above Babale on my scum list. However, since then I have learned of his PM to Visor, which I agree looks like he was trying to buddy up. Also, the vote record for Day 2 I thought was interesting.
The first 5 votes for TexCat are all from players whose alignment we now know. Visorslash, Mahaloth, and Mosier are the first to vote for her. Then Inner Stickler and Suburban jump on the wagon. The next vote after Suburban’s is Enderw24’s. Then after that we have Alka/Ryjae and Babale.
I don’t know if scum would put three votes in a row on TexCat like that, but I could see Inner or Suburban recommending to go ahead and do it since other players would think it unlikely. There was an obvious scum attempt to save Inner here and Ender definitely helped that effort (and yes Alka/Ryjae and Babale did too, and I maintain some suspicion of them, especially Babale).
Overall, though, I prefer the evidence against Ender. I would say the PM to Visor pushed it over the top for me.
Vote Enderw24
Uh, guys, there’s nothing for me to unvote. I never voted for Babale.
I’m assuming you’re confusing me with Visorslash.
