Oh, I think you’ll fit in nicely here…
Well goode Pilgrymes, we are at the start of an ennobling journey to the fane at Canterbury, for the salvation of our soules
Welcome one and all.
Let none in our fair Companye bear ill-will against others for past slights,
I would advise killing the host and taking his powers.
I’ve kind of grown tired of the MHaye schtick, but that was awesome.

No way am I spending the whole game reading thys olde englyshe shyte.
And I know he was early middle english, so don’t waste your time picking that nit.
PM received thanks.
Maybe we should refer to it as “carting” in this game. It’s much the same, but takes a bit more patience.
The Inquisition would like a word with you lad.
Brilliant.
In all seriousness, I have a question. It’s one that probably only storyteller can answer but I thought I’d throw it out here.
We all now have characters with an accompanying description. Is this just flavor or are we expected to act like our particular character would for the duration of the game?
You can if you like. Since it’s an open setup, acting in a manner consistent with your character may earn you a NK if the scum team thinks your chosen one-shot is too dangerous to leave hanging around.
We’re off, we’re off! We’re on our pilgrim way!
We’re off, we’re off! It’s Canterbury day!
And some are here for fun and beer.
And some are here to pray.
So let’s go merry to Canterbury.
We’re on our pilgrim way!
In general, there’s absolutely no requirement to ever be ‘in character’. we did have a game a couple years back where several of the players *were *required to post in character (it was a Halloween ‘Costume Party’ game), but that was very much the exception to the rule.
But there’s no rule against it, right? We’ll just look funny? 'Cuz it really sounds more fun to play in character. << And if the scum choose to gank me (presuming I’m not scum myself, wahaha) for my power? Ah, so be it, I died having fun. >>
PM received. I have my meager possessions packed and am ready to go.
PM Received.
No rule, but it could be detrimental to your team.
Whan that Aprille with his shoures soote…
Sorry, I’m an English major. Yes, I read it in the middle English (at least the Prologue). Yes, it was tiresome.
Anyway, I’m all PMed up and ready. Let’s do this!
Ducking in to make sure everyone knows that Geoffrey Chaucer hath a blog, on which be yfounde sych minor workes as:
Sorry to be late for the the party. Got my pm.
I knew I should of paid better attention to that book. Han Solo was a pilgrim, who knew?
For those wondering when the scum-lotto might take place, here’s who we’re waiting on:

I seem to remember KellyCriterion is in Australia, so we are unlikely to hear from him tonight.
