@ Švejk, a roleblocker is a power role, either Town or scum, who can block another player from performing their Night action, if they have one. Check out the mafia wiki for descriptions of standard roles and lots of other fun stuff.
I was reading over the thread getting ready for some gameplay (I’m excited to get started, can you tell?), and I noticed people talking about color. What’s the deal with that?
Color or flavor is the text the mod uses to set the scene. Sometimes color contains hints to the setup and sometimes it does not.
It’s the narrative or back story used by the mod to create a setting for the game, an identity for the characters, and a more interesting storytelling approach to the events of the game. The mod could have skipped all that stuff about Eduardo and the lovers and simply said “OK, Day’s started”. Sometimes the color is used to give hints or explicit information about the setup or roles. In the end, the objective is the same: hunt and lynch the scum, but the color adds flavor and can make it more engaging.

Day 1 has already started but it won’t end until 5 real life days after the last person confirms. Fluiddruid’s online right now so I don’t really know what’s keeping her from confirming.
I’m also unsure why it’s been so quiet so far toDay, possibly it’s a mixture of the weekend start and the lack of weird or unusual mechanisms to encourage discussion, but most people seem content to have simply confirmed their role and haven’t posted anything since.
It has been very quiet today so far, I usually have tons to read in my RL morning. Day1 could last for weeks if** fluiddruid** doesn’t post. It’s been awhile since there has just been a “normal” game with no game mechanics to discuss, which usually confuse me first thing on a morning.
I suppose everyone should make at least one post per day to participate so…
