Mafia V: The Cult of Sekham
Who of the potential prophet list was most in danger of getting dunked before any Monk roleclaims happened? Was it Kyrie? Should we be killing to get info or killing the best candidate for scum/prophet? While info is needed, we are past the point where we have the luxury of killing just for information. Plus I’m still worried that Queuing is scum and leading the town toward a townie kill.

Hockey Monkey, I’m also worried that if Kyrie turns up Believer, that you will block me tonight instead of Idle Thoughts. If this is the case, I’d rather dunk Idle so that you know for sure who to target this evening (that is useful information too). I’d even go so far as to say that if Hockey Monkey intends to block me or Cookies based on a dead believer Kyrie, that I should be dunked instead of Kyrie.
I believe you and Cookies. Kyrie’s alignment neither implicates nor exhonorates the two of you in my eyes.
WAAAAAHHH!!! WAAAAHHH!!!

I asked for you to be modkilled at the beginning.
Uncalled for.

Hey guys, why don’t you calm down. This is only a game…it’s not worth it.

–FCOD

I think I’ll actually be happy if this game is over tonight. :frowning:

But you’re forgetting something.

On Day Two I changed my vote from Mal to Kat, now known scum. Kyrie was also voting for her. So what is your explanation of that if you’re wanting to have it both ways?
Am I right about it being Kyrie? I DON’T KNOW! The Prophet is among these people:

Kyrie - person I administered sleeping potion to Night 6
FCOD - possible but unlikely
USC Diver - smells clean to me
Pygmy - stinks to high heaven
Queuing - has been advocating this plan all day
NAF1138 - have no clear feel

If **Kyrie ** turns up scum, the conclusion can be drawn that I blocked a kill or a recruitment. There is still a possiblity that there was a protection that night that had nothing to do with me. I still advocate that the recruit ability has not been played yet, and that was the whole reason for the false claiming Monks to get involved. If we kill **Kyrie ** we will get info.
Something doesn’t mesh with what you’re saying/claiming. You say you tried to block Kyrie on Night Six…and again on Night Seven.

Night Six saw a block…yet Night Seven didn’t. So what does this say for him being something?

I’m telling you…Sach has got to be the Prophet!

sigh I don’t know what the heck to do, but I wish you guys would quit slinging around the f-bomb. I curse as much as the next guy (and probably more) but there’s no reason for it in here.

That’s what I’m saying. I leave for two hours and find all heck’s broken loose with tempers.: /

SkipMagic is going to be coming in here soon and cracking skulls. Come on, guys’. Let’s not get insultive or calling each other names.

I’m tempted not to devote even one more braincell to this game until we decide either to take our toys and go home because we obviously can’t share them, or we all apologize to each other, suck it up, and play.

I’ll start.

I’m sorry. Please, let us finish the game that we’ve devoted months of our lives to playing.

But since my braincells refuse to believe that we’re going to blow up in a clusterfsck NOW, of ALL times, they’re continuing to fire.

As much as I know that we have an opportunity to try and flush out the Prophet toDay, it is getting pretty obvious that we’re not yet collectively ready or confident enough to do so effectively. Idle and zuma are fully committed to scummy lies, but there are plenty of other scum left to work their manipulations on any attempted search for the Prophet.

Unvote Kyrie
Vote Idle
I love the way you always put in a thinly veiled threat. Why would I vote for Idle if I think he is telling the truth? As I have stated if I am forced to choose I am choosing for Idle and Zuma, and against sach/cookies/mhaye. In my mind I want all 3 of those to go for Idle (if Kyrie does not go instead) because IMO it improves the chance that we get a scum anyway.

In fact if we are all so damn worried about the avatar, and Idle is the one who is going down, why don’t the above 3 vote for him, zuma and Idle vote for sach (or whomever) and the rest of sit and watch. Or not. People just do what they want and vote for who they think helps win the game.

Of course you would rather threaten us while refusing to listen to anyones but your own counsel. So basically I don’t give a crap what you say O secret role.
I’m not sure how you got a threat out of that. It’s just a simple statement of strategy. We get information from how people vote.

As for choosing between the Monk claimants–yeah, if we choose wrong then the Town is in big trouble. But I don’t see better odds voting for anyone else. I pick who I think is most likely to be scum. I expect every Townie to do that.

Of course we’ll be judged by our votes, what do you expect? I find it strange you’re so defensive about that.

Out of game: sachertorte, Queuing, anyone else who’s feeling put out–don’t let it get to you. It’s a game. A game of limited information, misinformation and subjective interpretation. Don’t take it personally if someone doesn’t believe you or accuses or whatnot. And don’t make it personal by throwing insults, either. I’ve tried not to, and if I’ve offended anyone, I’m sorry.

steps up the the mic

Hello. My name is ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies. I’m a lesbian with a beautiful wife, 4 cats, and 2 dogs. And I love Idle Thoughts.

I love that the product of his mind has resulted in countless hours of plotting and strategizing (is that a word?) in my head. Seriously.

I spend more time each week communicating with Idle, and the rest of you, more than looks left, right my boss.
You gained some town cred by doing that. Perhaps Kyrie couldn’t get off the wagon without drawing suspicion. I don’t see how I’m trying to have it both ways. You can both be scum.

How many times do I have to say it? I don’t know what effect my actions have had on the game. My role is 75% effective if I target a non-scum. If I target a scum, it’s 75% effective on a 1/n chance where n is the remaining number of scum. So a block on one night doesn’t translate into a block the next (or subsequent) nights on the same person. Night 7 has no bearing on night 6.

To clarify, I’m talking about these sadistic SOBs.

:::steps up to mic:::

um, Hi. My name is Hockey Monkey, and I’m a Mafia Addict.

:::sniff::: I love you guys!

Group hug!!!

The point is that it is a game we all agreed to play. Instead we have a game with a bunch of people who quit, a bunch of people taking extended in-all-likelihood-known-long-time-ago vacations, and other people who don’t seem to like the fire and instantly complain. So yeah, whatever.

In the game: My vote stands, I am voting for who I think will most likely help the believers win the game.

FWIW, I have been intending to respond in a similar fashion to that statement of his.:

.

As for Queuing: Without sounding like a youth counselor  I can see

how a townie could arrive at your conclusion. I don’t know enough yet to gamble on whether or not that’s because you’re one of those really good scum players that zuma keeps referring to and secretly things he is.

Just to be clear. That was a joke.

Yeah, well if it helps:

I have played one other game of mafia. I was just as vocal. I survived to end game. I believe I cast the fatal vote that cost my side the game. So thats how good I am :).

I probably shouldn’t respond to this but you did use a mad smiley.

He was called a name and up and quit. This is after taking an extended vacation that he clearly knew about long before joining this game. He is the 2nd person to threaten to quit this game this Day all because things might not be going his way. I take commitments seriously. Any commitments. I expect that if you say something you will actually do it. Even on message boards. If you do not you are a jackass IMO. If your game behavior points to even more jackassery I get annoyed and say something. We might not be faced with what we are if people did what the agreed to do.

Yeah…very STUPID scum.

So you’re not really sure or positive about anything, are you? No matter. You soon will be.
