Mafia V: The Cult of Sekham

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t post what you saw, if its game breaking information. It seems to me that it must be something that confirms his status. If you are a citizen why wouldn’t you want to confirm what he is?

As to the editing, many people have already done so, well 2 at least that I can think of and there has been no smackdown, it would be sort of odd for it to happen now.

As far as being Mod-killed for editing, I’ll quote the relevent section from the initial rules post (Post 4):

“This is a game of subtlety; therefore, you may not edit your posts in this thread at any time for any reason. If you need to correct grammatical or factual errors, please correct them in a follow-up post instead. I will only warn once or twice; thereafter, anyone who edits his posts may be forcibly subbed or mod-killed, depending on how far into the game the edit occurs.”

Oooooooo…

The only people I remember having edited are those of us whooooo are already DEAD… and editing from BEYOND THE GRAVE! (ooh, scary).

Quick Z, edit that post.

It is sooo much funnier if you edit that post.

It was my understanding that he was actually posting things he was supposed to be posting over at Asylum Lane (as he then made a post over there saying he had posted in the wrong game).

I could be wrong though.

Yeah, Pygmy has to be delt with. I think it is only fair that he gets Modkilled at this point. If he is scum, so much the better, if he is town…well it sucks.

Frankly the only was I see what happened making any sense is if Pygmy is scum. Though I suppose he could have been meaning to post to the off board game. But then I don’t know why FCoD is claiming game breaking info.

Here’s what I’m planning on doing. Because I cannot rectify these situations as simply as it looks (which I can explain in a bit), I’ll sum up what was in the editted post based on the available evidence. It would not be fair to mod-kill FlyingCowOfDoom, because he was honest and since any potential information gain would be shared with everyone, it is no longer an advantage. Plus, I have no way of knowing other people didn’t see the post as well. Also, by revealing the information, it in effect “undoes” the damage of editting, and so I will not mod-kill Pygmy Rugger either.

Instead, I will leave it up to the town as to what the motivation is behind the post and whether it is part of an ellaborate scheme or a slip of the tongue.

As for the Avatar, I will apply it immediately (after the FCoD/Pygmy debacle is finished), and the target will be randomly selected from those who voted for zuma [Ver. 2] potentially including the afforementioned FCoD and Pygmy.

And you expect us to believe you? Dead Cultist scum!

So I can post what I saw?

::excited::

Well, I’ll post my best guess between what you claim to have seen and what Pygmy claims to have posted. But after that you can say whatever you want (within reason).

Not true. 3 people have edited that I found quite quickly:

Cookies in post 3855 (links don’t have the editing so not going to bother)
Pygmy in post 3620
Pleaonast in post 3551.

These are fluff posts/game announcement posts which is why I assume BM left them. I seem to remember Catina doing it as well, but don’t have the energy to actually find it.

Not Guilty m’lud.

Hey, this haunting lark is fun

Here’s my best guess at the gist of what was said:

“I think you should move the Avatar’s powers to me [Pygmy Rugger] or NAF.”

I will leave out the reasoning because they conflict and, it doesn’t really affect the content of the message.

Honestly, I didn’t catch them, I went through those few hundred posts very quickly.

Here’s what I remember seeing:

“I vote that you move the power to NAF or I. Unless you’re planning to kill a townie :D”

Seems pretty obvious to me.

–FCOD

You are a liar once again

It would certainly seem so. I don’t see how PR can wriggle his way out of this one.

Unless of course, the scum in Idle’s game have an ability that they vote to move between themselves that can kill townies. :stuck_out_tongue:

–FCOD

Well shit then. If thats true it does pretty much kill this game doesn’t it? Unless the recruit power has been used then I suppose there might still be one left. Of course there might be one left anyway but I suppose we can be pretty sure that NAF isn’t the prophet.

It seems we go for Pygmy right now.

dunk Pygmy

I “swear on everything” that my edit last Night was to add a smiley. :o

I have no preference for BM’s Avatar decision, so I have not PM’d him.

If this game actually survives any further bending/breaking, we should really try and see if we can apply our collective paranormal physics skillz toward producing free energy…or something.
