There was one thing you missed that we all hoped you’d look at again hard.
You seemed to miss how, on Day Two’s end, I put in the last vote for Kat, who turned out to be scum. So I risked myself on the Avatar…but that’s not all. Kyrie was also voting for her at the time.
I feel had you remembered that, I wonder if you’d have probably thought that I’d never risk our own prophet on someone possibly being the Avatar. I like to think you would have.
I noticed it. I noticed it during people’s commenting on noticing and reminding of commenting on it, but for whatever reason (ADD maybe? ), it never really raised any huge red flags for me. When re-reading Kyrie’s post with the assumption that he was scum, it was obviously dropped to the floor. Like I said, I’m really glad I did the deep dive on Kyrie first.
I got a good laugh out of the night action thread. Especially night 6 when I blocked Kyrie because I thought he definitely WAS NOT the Prophet, and was purposefully trying to AVOID blocking the Prophet. Heh! I thought he was the Apprentice. See…scum you should have recruited me.
I think that was one of the key turning points in the game. The other really big one being the blown recruitment attempt of Fretful Porpentine. I think if either had gone through, it would have been difficult for the other side to recover.
Why do I last so long? It seems to me to not be a good thing if you are a townie both times you have played the game, and made it to endgame both times.
I don’t know about that. I have yet to see scum that actually try to take out dangerous vanilla scum…
They are usually preoccupied with killing power roles, or people who haven’t pointed their fingers at them, etc. etc. For instance, my first incarnation wasn’t killed because I was suspected as a Crusader but …
In other words, the first time anyone said something about killing me, the gist of the argument was “well, he hasn’t posted much and just voted”. Me, I’d have gone after the first townie who’d gone for Kat, or maybe for the one townie who’d swung the tide against her. YMMV, of course.
