Mafia V: The Cult of Sekham

There was one thing you missed that we all hoped you’d look at again hard.
You seemed to miss how, on Day Two’s end, I put in the last vote for Kat, who turned out to be scum. So I risked myself on the Avatar…but that’s not all. Kyrie was also voting for her at the time.

I feel had you remembered that, I wonder if you’d have probably thought that I’d never risk our own prophet on someone possibly being the Avatar. I like to think you would have.

Oops… I forgot I put an extra lair on there just to make sure the Cult couldn’t see it. You should be able to see it now.

Great game. I had fun. I was surprised I lasted so long as scum. I didn’t think I’d last a Day. Great work and job Cookies.

I’m still kicking myself for not taking out Kyrie the one chance that I got.

Still, no harm done. Great job, again, Cookies!

I’d also like to point out that we are the 2nd longest thread in MPSIMS history:

The thread “a” has 5,337 replies, and we have 4,304. Too bad we couldn’t go that extra grand!

Good game, everyone!

And what were those (in)famous secrets you became aware of, Idle?

Oh come on y’all we can get another 1000 posts in game analysis…

Definitely. Ooh… or resurrection of zombies attack the town for more game?

Can I kick you for that, too?

Great game, all; I’m glad to have played (briefly) and watched (at great length).

I noticed it. I noticed it during people’s commenting on noticing and reminding of commenting on it, but for whatever reason (ADD maybe? ), it never really raised any huge red flags for me. When re-reading Kyrie’s post with the assumption that he was scum, it was obviously dropped to the floor. Like I said, I’m really glad I did the deep dive on Kyrie first.

<cackles>

I am twelve years old.

Absolutely, join the fun.

I mean:

  1. I suspected him on Day 1/Night 1
  2. During Day 2 I even asked BlaM if I should send him my Night Kill right then
  3. During Day 2 I added Hockey Monkey to my kill list
  4. and… ended up killing you?

Seriously, why the hell does my brain insist on screwing up its own decisions? :smack:

Does Kyrie hate me now? :frowning:

I got a good laugh out of the night action thread. Especially night 6 when I blocked Kyrie because I thought he definitely WAS NOT the Prophet, and was purposefully trying to AVOID blocking the Prophet. Heh! I thought he was the Apprentice. See…scum you should have recruited me.

Just that Hockey was blocking power roles (for town) while she was alive.

I think that was one of the key turning points in the game. The other really big one being the blown recruitment attempt of Fretful Porpentine. I think if either had gone through, it would have been difficult for the other side to recover.

Thing is, that Night, we also tried recruiting Fretful, who was the Priest, so it wouldn’t have made a difference anyway.

So here is my question to all of you:

Why do I last so long? It seems to me to not be a good thing if you are a townie both times you have played the game, and made it to endgame both times.

And, in retrospect, the mutual killing of the Crusader and the Prophet would have made a glorious Dawn post!

I don’t know about that. I have yet to see scum that actually try to take out dangerous vanilla scum…

They are usually preoccupied with killing power roles, or people who haven’t pointed their fingers at them, etc. etc. For instance, my first incarnation wasn’t killed because I was suspected as a Crusader but …

In other words, the first time anyone said something about killing me, the gist of the argument was “well, he hasn’t posted much and just voted”. Me, I’d have gone after the first townie who’d gone for Kat, or maybe for the one townie who’d swung the tide against her. YMMV, of course.
