**Casey, I don’t think it would have been. I think this is a case of an amateur getting KO’s by the reigning champ in Round 3, saying, “I can take him! I can take him!” even as his consciousness temporarily abandons his brain for safer (and more sensible?) quarters.

I know I’m breaking one of the first rules of a message board by posting when I first come in, :smack: I just wanted to reply to Miller’s invite. 
I will now sit back, lurk around, and enjoy the show.

Hey, post all you want over in MSPISM, IMHO or Cafe Society. Jump right in. Just don’t be a jerk and you’ll do fine.
(You may want to lurk before doing too much posting here or in General Questions (as innocent as it sounds, the “rules” there are stricter than anyplace else), or Great Debates. There are people who have been here for YEARS that avoid those places. And try not to flame a mod your first couple hunderd posts - unless the mod really deserves it)

I also want to welcome you Wingasaurus. This is the only messageboard I go to with any regularity, it’s got just about eveything.
If you want to laugh till you choke try the funniest posts thread It has links to many of the classic humor posts from the SDMB.
But for humor I would be remiss if I didn’t note seperately The horror of blimps If you will not, by the third and fourth page of this thread there are people with one post, who registered just to be able to respond to the thread. They were welcome to do so.

Look’s like both boards have new members now. Hmmmm… Maybe mentioning www.971fm.net did Tony some good, eh Wing? Maybe all of the cliques on www.971fm.net will eventually dissolve, something I hated from the first minute I got there. But I would never receive any credit because I don’t take the politically correct avenues. It wasn’t my intention to get www.971fm.net new members though. Anyhow, by members calling for me to be banned when I’ve posted a total of 10 times is very intolerant and simplistic. Why don’t you hear what I have to say before you throw all the F bombs at me?
Side note to Wingasaurus- Don’t you think you jumped the gun just a little? And FYI, the real reason I’m not at www.971fm.net anymore is because Tony read some PM’s and supposedly found something I wrote about him which he did not like.
As it was requested, I too have been lurking here since I found the link in the ‘referrals’ to my site… Like Wing, thought I would address the quoted post and ‘speak up’. 
Sorry your first contact with our Board had to be so… dramatic. But it looks like you may have a few new people swinging on by… we’ll try not to piss off any mods on our first day though… and reserve the right to do such things at a later date… if called for, as stated.

And welcome aboard new people. The Pit’s a rather harsh introduction. Check out MPSIMS and IMHO for some good fun, with Cafe Society if you like to talk snooty. Just avoid Great Debates, lest the intellectual gods SMITE THEE!

Well when I voiced my concerns about www.971fm.net on your board, your reaction was not quite what I had expected. I thought you would’ve handled it in a more civil way.
After reading this whole thread, I see the people in here are pretty cool. Make ya wonder why ONE person has a problem ALREADY.

Oh do give it up… I’m not avoiding you at all… I banned you. Simple as that.
You still have my E-mail address… although we really have nothing to say to each other. I’m not here to carry on a discussion with you… nor do I care for the fact that you got some other seemingly decent people involved in your personal vendetta’s. But that is besides the point, these people seem more than capable of taking care of their own issues, and have already uncovered 90% of your personality.
If it would help them, I would advise that they do what they have already thought about, and maybe save them some trouble… but like myself, I think Manhattan is the kind of person who will want to at least give you the benefit of the doubt… once.
Now, kindly stop trying to cause disenssion elsewhere, you know how to contact me off the board, feel free to do so. Until then, I intend to sit back here and count the days.
