We’ll probably see more news in the next day or so. I’m kind of glad they are keeping this low key. Let the soldiers enjoy their dates without a lot of cameras in their faces.
I watched her Operation Octagon fight from about 15 feet away a couple of weeks ago; she kicked her opponent’s ass. She had a table full of Wounded Warriors at the event as her guests, and there were choruses of “Ooh rah” throughout the sports centre as she walked up to the octagon (to, appropriately enough, “Bringing Sexy Back”… ). I’m glad JT followed through; it would’ve been a darn shame if she had to hunt him down or something.
My minor man-crush on Mr, Timberlake is reinforced once again. He can sing, he can dance, he can act… he’s nailed some of the hottest girls working today… he’s funny as hell on SNL…
Big date tonight for Mila Kunis and Sgt. Scott Moore. The guy that started all this last summer.
Haven’t found one interview with Scott Moore since last summer. He must be uncomfortable with any press? Or more likely his superiors told him to STFU about this. The wording in this article sounds like they don’t want any distractions.
Anyway, it’s on for tonight. Lucky dog. Mila was just named GQ’s “Knock out of the Year”.
Lance Cpl. Jonathan Burkett took Reality Star Kristin Cavallari to the Marine Corps Ball Thursday.
Kristin’s Blog. She’s so pretty in her gown.
Mila and Scott’s is the last one. Hopefully Mila or Scott will blog in the next couple days.
Four very lucky celebrities got an experience of a lifetime with the Marines. I’m glad this worked out for everyone. Celebrities often visit war zones or troop hospitals. It’s great that they got to experience a happier time in a soldiers life.
I’m thinking it will be a long time before another female marine asks a male civilian to be her date to the birthday ball. In an organization as fundamentally cohesive and masculine as the Marine Corps, it just has to create awkwardness. Who knows how much contempt JT engendered among Cpl. DeSantis’ fellow servicemen - even if they were tactful enough not to show it?
