Marshmallow Peeps!

Fresh?? What, from last century? I hate them so much I’m almost afraid of them.

I can’t find it anywhere, but I distinctly remember from David Letterman and the Steamroller (remember those?) they crushed a bunch of boxes, the steamroller backs up and lo and behold— THE PEEPS REFORM TO THEIR SHAPES! The boxes remain crushed, of course.

One of the very few things that shall not enter my stomach.

Peeps are more suitable as clever art supplies than as edible confection.

I hate Peeps. I only like marshmallow in S’mores and hot chocolate.
On the other hand, I do love Circus Peanuts, though I haven’t eaten any for years.

They are already on sale, three packs for a dollar at my Walgreens. Stock up now for next year. If they go stale who will know

Ugh, yuck!!! I’m a Cadbury Creme Eggs girl and proud of it. Oh god, those things are addicting. Sooooooo good.

Any one who has ever eaten a peep, that’s who! I ONLY like them stale; you have to open the box and let the peeps age for a couple of days! Mmmmm!

This morning, for the first time in my life, I ate a Peep.

Definitely needs chocolate and graham crackers.

Nom nom nom. My mom loves 'em too.

We’re Jewish, BTW. A lot of my Jewish friends like Peeps, actually.

Bleah. Don’t like peeps at all. Cadbury eggs, both creme and caramel… yum.

Obligatory link to Peep Research the solubility testing page, because it’s awesome!

I hate peeps. But that’s basically true of all things marshmallow - except those carefully roasted over a camp fire. And the really fresh, home-made, vegetarian ones they sell in the Whole Foods bakery.

Peeps are not food!, they are not even “food-like”.

EW!!

I took one look at “Eep” and was blown away! Even the semi-finalists are amazing!

As to the marshmallow peeps - I’ll eat 'em, they do have sugar in them after all, but my doctor and what’s left of my pancreas say no. :frowning:

They cause horrible yeast infections.

I’m not sure what you’re doing with your peeps, but they’ve never had that effect on me…

I went to the store for my marked down Peeps fix and they didn’t have any! I’ve only had two Peeps that someone brought into work. Well, at least I got my Cadbury mini-eggs.

We’ve got scads of them! Fifty cents for a 12-pack.

I’m off to the store today to buy my half-price peeps and Reese’s peanut butter eggs.

Hmmm, I wonder if you can freeze peeps…

Absolutely! That’s my favorite way to eat them!

If you don’t eat all your Reese’s eggs, can I buy the leftovers from you?

Sweetie, there won’t be any leftovers!
