I was on the computer night before last when it crashed. I tried restarting it several times, but it wouldn’t go past the welcome screen. I text Computer Boy and arrange to drop it off at his place. He texted me yesterday and said it looks like a hard drive is going. :mad: This happens every time I move. Hopefully it’s still under warranty. So I’m once again computerless. Good thing I unpacked my books!

I’m on a cullinary roll it seems like! Last night was hommade Tuscan pizza. (though, alas, store bought crust) It was really good! I have SO much stuff going on the weekend. gotta clean house go shopping attend a cookout, deheathenate, & then a wedding! & Poor **PB *had to work tonight! I made him go to bed!

So I don’t normally go for this kind of thing, but I clicked on the story posted over on Cheezeburger about this kid who auditioned on America’s Got Talent and blew the lid off the place. His backstory is almost too over the top - outcast, loner, etc. but it seems to be real, and it’s fun to watch.

Up Caffinating, X-wording and such, hope everyone is well. Going to do a little cleaning and baking after I run an errand or two, thinking about making some chocolate caramel squares and then fresh pasta sauce for din din, kinda like date night except its for one ;). Might go have a drink with my friend who left her husband of 10+ years recently, that ought to be interesting as we are all close and he is devastated, soap opera time I am sure.

Good morning! It is still morning here for …51 mins according to my clock.
It was 67 and gorgeous here this morning. Weather is expected to be high 80s for the rest of the weekend.
So grateful it is Friday. Idiot cow-worker has not contacted me in 24 hours which is a good thing.

I have accomplished everthing I needed to do when I came in today. Can I go home yet?

Good morning! (It’s still morning here!) My #1 daughter and her family have been on the road since yesterday, I am so happy!
In other news, it’s a nice enough morning that I am going to have my coffee out on the deck with my #3 daughter among the flowers. All three peonies are now blooming, as are most of the roses. It smells so good out there!
Good morning/afternoon/evening as appropriate! Busy busy me today. I got outside while it was still cool and put in the pavers leading from the front walk to the hose in the front of the house. It also required me to move some dirt - I think I carried 8 or 9 or 10 buckets full of dirt down to where I’ll be transplanting some azaleas. Then I got cleaned up, went to Leonardtown to settle up a medical bill, and stopped at McKay’s, where I got some sushi, some crab legs, and a dozen eggs. I just finished my share of the sushi, and it was quite good. I guess the guy they have making it there really knows what he’s doing!
Not sure what I’ll do the rest of the day. My back is a bit achy after all the manual labor this morning. I may continue to work on my non-terrorist blanket.

Howdy Y’all! I am home from irk. After this afternoon’s bout with teh stoopids I called it a day. I am also pleased to report that I am not havin’ a combo beerverage/martini/gin&tonic. I’m stickin’ with the beerverage(s). Ice cold even.
Today I have given a deposition for a lawsuit I know next to nuttin’ about except from what I’ve read. It started before I took on this gig. I have begun to deal with an EEOC complaint filed by Liar McLiarson which will go nowhere due to the fact that he is employed and has no basis to claim any kind of discrimination. Still I had to answer. I have begun the process to terminate Psychotic Hosebeast who still will not do what she’s supposed to be doin’. I placed a program participant on leave of absence due to the fact that her host agency told me in no uncertain terms they do not want her there. PH was supposed to have done that but refused to do so, hence the beginnin’ of the termination process. Da bear don’t cotton well to havin’ to do somebody else’s job and if’n he’s got to, well, he’d just as soon that person not get paid for not doin’ the job. Plus also, I have an application on file from somebody who not only could do the job but do it uptown. Just think, I’d have a PB out the door and gasp somebody competent gasp in her place. I dare to dream.
So, that’s been my day. Dindin is deli sammiches and chips. I got some good deli stuff. As a matter of fact that shall be this weekend’s dindin menu.

Horrid weather. Wet, and waaay windy; all my plants are being badly battered, and I don’t want to do anything. Didn’t get out bed 'til 2, and that was pretty reluctantly. I did brave the weather and go to the laundrette, and even nipped down to my allotment to try and stop all my poor plants getting dedded by the gale, so I did do something with the day.
Now though, I think I shall get the dvd collection out, and hide in my room watching brainless stuff. It’s that sort of day.
Oh, and {{{BooFae}}}, hope stuff gets better soon.
Ummm, Cap’n, you’re not really my type, but chocolate caramel squares & booze…if you make enough for two, we can call it mumpers night instead of date night so there’s no expectation of smoochin’ later on.
