For those who aren’t familiar w the details of Palm Beach County, this occurred on a rural road outside a small town surrounded by sugar cane fields. And with 10-20 foot wide canals paralleling many of the roads. I’ve been to that area, albeit not on that exact road.
Google Maps shows the 2-lane road goes dead straight for miles along a section line then makes an abrupt low speed hard turn at a section realignment point. If you high-side the turn, you and your vehicle are going swimming at speed. Oops.
You see a lot of roadside memorials at places like this all over rural flat America.
