Maybe This Is This Week's MMP

Scooter is a little better. She ate a few kitty treats. First thing I have seen her eat in a few days. She also hissed at Louie and washed her face. She stretched and wants out. She is being made to stay in until we see her eat, drink and potty. She is normally an indoor/outdoor cat so I don’t know how she will feel about a litter box but I need proof.

We had grilled burgers and I am ready for some sleep.

Night all.

Is that different from Jamaican style - smoked a bowl & ate a bag of Doritos? :o
Swampy, tell OYKW he’s in good company, apparently, Eric Trump likes ice cream cake for his b-day, too. Specifically Fudgie the Whale from Carvel.
I’m starting a new business, selling bulk salt to municipalities for use in spreading on roads & sidewalks; you know, a warehouse full. IOW, I swept up the foyer…again.

Dinner has been consumed and I am trying to become the only Ali-bamian not to watch the college tackleball game tonight. Napped a fair portion of the afternoon, so probably will be up late tonight.

Other than printing out my 1099-INT form from the Credit Union, a completely unexciting day–which was fine by me.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 54 Amurrkin out and rainyish with a predicted high of 67 and mostly cloudy for the day. I get to go see the doc this mornin’ at nine. Rah. This is vampire time as well. Laundry shall also be accomplished. I live such a full life!

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then purtification for the doc must commence. Again, rah.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.

Ooooh, I got hugs! gets warm fuzzies
Had an interview that was a bit weird. At first they wanted me to go in person, but that one is back in Spain so no. Then there were 6 people to interview me; I’m used to group interviews having kind of the opposite ratio, you know? Relatively few questions, and I am under the impression that we were using the same words to mean different things. Having people talking in 3 languages, sometimes among themselves with the mike open, didn’t help with clarity. Whatever.

Bert, I hope your school reacts properly to the Strong Words.

**MetalMouse **- my niece’s husband is a hard-core Crimson Tider. Dunno if he went to school there or not, but when I heard the news this morning, I figured he went to bed happy.

It was a semi-foggy commute this morning - some spots mostly clear, others mostly foggy. And I think I may have hit one small patch of ice. But mostly, it was a boring commute and I’m here with nothing to do.

With luck, I can make a quick stop on the way home and drive thru a car wash. My dark blue car is awfully white with street crud.

And so it begins. Happy Tuesday!!

Blurfage.

Happy Toosday!

It’s an-above-freezing-for-the-first-time-in-what-seems-like-forever 34 degrees outside.
It’s supposed to get up to 41 today.

I’m having a bit of a grumpy morning. I’ve been up since 4:30, too early to get up.
However, I’ve gotten a buch of stuff done around here that needed doing.

MetalMouse - unexciting days are the best. I am at a point in my life where boring is good.

I’m glad Scooter is feeling better Butters.

Red - this dog will do about anything for food. That didn’t work so well with Mackie, if we tried to bribe him with food he figured whatever it was he wasn’t going to like it. Ripple is totally food motivated. He was playing in the yard one day, when the microwav timer went off he stopped dead in his tracks, paused to listen, and came running to the door. I let him in and he ran right over and sat down in front of the microwave. So far the only thing giving him the vapors is beans. He’s not allowed to have mashed potatoes or baked potatoes anymore because they make him sick.

Swampy I have to go get vapirized too.

Mea culpa Spidey.

moves around the thread doing silly dances in between bouts of coughing

The office is unusually full today. One of the differences between those who are internal to the consulting company and us subcontractors is that we’re required to be here every day unless we’ve got previous permission signed in virgin blood on a parchment made from a white goat’s whole skin; they vary between being in one day a week and half the time. On one hand the room is warmer than on other days but on the other we’re all looking Terribly Serious because one of the consultant big wigs is in.

does silly dances around the thread because she can’t do them irl and having everybody so busy Looking Concentrated is giving her the giggles

I did not go out this morning because of the freezing rain we got last night; don’t wanna kill myself & end up horizontal, or at unnatural angles on the sidewalk. Will go out later, once the sun is up & the temp get above freezing for the first time this year.
Didja know that 225 years ago today Jean Pierre Blanchard made the first air voyage in America; didja, didja? Well, you do now.

 I forgot to go back & edit to give Swampy a “thbhbhtbhbttbhttt” for top of 2.

I am all purtified and shall leave shortly to see the doc and get vampirized. There are two vampires and both of ‘em are good at drawin’ blood so it’s not all that bad. The bad part is just knowin’ needles and vials of blood are in my near future. ICK!

Oh, the needles hardly ever break off inside your arm.

Hey, they’re talking about you:
[

](My new vagina almost ruined my partner’s penis)

lol Spidey

Nava Stealing that phrase about the virgin blood on parchment made from the skin of a white goat. lol

Swampy I get squicked out when I have blood drawn. I can’t watch lest I wind up on the floor unconscious.

Kitty is going back to the vet today for maybe more fluids and don’t know. The not knowing what is wrong is most frustrating.

Sari I have never had a dog any thing except meat human food. NOTaters, beans…

Still solidly on 1. You boys need to learn to count.

Walked out to the car to discover a flat. DH has today off, so will be taking the car to get the tire fixed (we found a screw or some such in the tread). I’ll be arriving at irk about 90 minutes late, after calling out yesterday due to illness. I anticipate a none-too-enjoyable chat with management about attendance.

Dearly hoping that that application for another job I filed over the weekend pays off. Better pay, shorter commute, better professional environment (and given the application was to a check-cashing/payday loan place, that says something about present job).

Pet prayers and good vibes your way.
Watching pony pulling from the farm show. I’ll miss the mini-horse class because of work but I may be able to catch it on replays. I actually really love pony and horse pulls. If I actually get back into farm/ag in my old age that will probably be my event.

Now to decide between kielbasa and lasagna for dinner. Decisions, decisions.

Lunch break!

One little email, and the work has flown in. So I’ll be gainfully employed for a few more days. Yay!

Back from the doc and the vampires and have had N.O.L. Only three vials of blood drawn this time. I don’t have to go back until March, so yay.
