Nate Silver told the same story on 538 and had it happening in Pennsylvania. The way he tells it, though, it’s hard to tell whether he’s just repeating a FOAF version or if it’s something he’s actually reporting.

Has anyone shown that this group is even made up of Democrats? I have only seen them spouting right-wing internet talking points (he’s a muslim, he’s not really american, etc.) like they were possessed by Sean Hannity. My impression is that they were more Republican agitators trying to disrupt the nominating process by giving false support for Hillary to get the nomination then real Hillary supporters that were turning against thier party and own best interests (presumably) out of spite. I agree with Hillary that anyone who was truly a supporter of her platform would not find more in common with McCain then Obama policy-wise. Were they republican women trying to get any vagina in the White House or were they just troublemakers? Either way I never saw any in person or on news programs that weren’t idiots.

I think there’s probably a mixture or racist Democrats who can’t stand the thought of a black president, and the traditional crazies who believe anything bad as long as it’s about a “liberal.”

I offer as anecdote my wife. She has always been Dem, but is convinced that Hillary was tossed under the bus because she is a woman. Even pointing out that McCain is much more likely to get our oldest son drafted and his ass shot off doesn’t sway her.

I’m in North Carolina, and I just got a recorded call from some chick on Gray’s (Grey’s?) Anatomy endorsing Obama. Heh. So this great state comes down to Nascar drivers and TV stars. Well, if they can win it for Obama, so be it.
There was a Pit thread (or was it here?) about this, with the subject line being something along the lines of “Stealing of this election has started.” Or something. Unfortunately, I can’t find it.

I really wish I had checked this out before rushing out to call my dad in Alabama. Got a link to anything besides liberal message board forums for this. Now I am worried that it is just chatter and will look foolish.
